During the winter, we may get snow and ice, and this can keep our paying guests from being able to get here, or stay here. This is a critical job. The bad news is, we have to do it by hand. The good news is, with global warming, we don't get as much bad weather as we used to 10 years ago, but you never know. You could have very little to do except for light indoor chores. OR, we could get a blizzard. It's all up to Mother Nature.

Programa detallado

Primary task: remove snow and ice from deck, steps, driveway, and any place where guests travel to and from our home.

Actividades & Turnos

The shift is unpredictable, and you will be on call when we have bad weather. If we have great weather during your stay, you'll have an easy time and only have to do light household contributions. But when weather hits, you are in the hot seat and in a critical position where we depend on your being in action.

Reglas

1. No parties here - we maintain a quiet and peaceful home at all times.
2. Everyone contributes. If there is no bad weather, you will find other things to help you meet your 25 hours/week obligation.
3. You will be able to manage your own time. No one will micromanage you.
4. You will sleep in a dorm/hostel style room with a privacy screen.
5. We are respectful and helpful to our paying guests at all times.
