My volunteering experience was bittersweet. The place is beautiful and peaceful. However, my relationship with the host was disappointing. He jokes all the time, which I loved at first but sometimes you need an explanation instead.Despite my best efforts to be polite and kind, I felt constantly judged and criticized through sarcastic jokes. The host had a passive-aggressive attitude and treated me differently than the others. His reactions to mistakes lacked patience and empathy, making the experience uncomfortable. While others may have different experiences, I felt compelled to express mine.

Je ne t'ai pas laissé de commentaire négatif pour ne pas te pénaliser. Ton comportement était celui d un adolescent, laissant beaucoup faire les autres à ta place , assez peu énergique dans le travail et cherchant la tâche la plus facile, toujours en quête d'un prétexte pour faire une pause, bavardant beaucoup et de fait, distrayant les autres durant le travail.Partant assez souvent de suite après le repas ( téléphone, cigarette) pendant que les autres faisaient la vaisselle où rangeaient. Tu n' étais pas au rdv à l' endroit fixé lors de ton arrivée et j ai dû te chercher dans la ville, ce qui ne m arrive jamais d ordinaire.Pour le départ ( 10 jours avant la date fixée et sans vraiment me demander mon avis), tu m as fait aller très tôt le matin à une gare plus éloignée car il n' y avait pas de bus, avais tu déclaré. Nous sommes arrivés en même temps que le bus supposé ne pas exister...
J' ai préféré essayé de prendre tout cela à la plaisanterie durant ton séjour pour ne pas nuire à l' ambiance de l' équipe qui était une bonne équipe et pour ne pas être désagréable. Tu es sympathique mais j apprécie les personnes qui ont le sens des limites, ce qui n' était pas ton cas, contrairement à la plupart des gens que je reçois. Pour les fautes dont tu parles, lorsque c est toujours la même personne qui les commet, il devient plus difficile d être dans l empathie au fil du temps.Je te souhaite de grandir et de prendre conscience que les Autres existent au delà, de la satisfaction de ton plaisir et de tes besoins, afin de devenir le volontaire que tout le monde souhaite avoir chez lui.

Huge place in the middle of the mountains and forest and different animals. Work is okay and nothing extremely complicated. the community is cooking good foods!

Our experience with the community was good, the place is in the middle of a wonderful forest, is like 20 min from the town and you can get there only by car, when the community goes there. We had a flat for the meals and days off and the dormitory were over it, it has a dry toilet and the shower is with a bucket, he cook for the Lunch and dinnner and give you things for breakfast, there is no WiFi and I recommend to bring everything you need before you arrive. The activities were also cleaning. Thank you for everything.

The month I had the privilege of spending the community was wonderful. It felt like a home away from home and was very difficult to leave. The work was varied and passed enjoyably with the lovely team of people here I had the pleasure of working and living alongside. The variety of animals here was so cool to be able to interact with every day! I had the opportunity to further my french here and the diversity of languages spoken was a great opportunity for everyone to learn. Thank you the community, Julian, Leo and all the volunteers who made this an unforgettable experience. I hope to be back again soon!

The community is a good person and a good chef (ask him for a tarte a la bierre). He's always with a smile in his face. The tasks that we have done, aren't so much hard, and he teached us which ones that we had never done. It was our first experience and we're really happy with its.

We had so much fun staying at the community's place! It was an amazing opportunity to slow down a bit, reconnect with nature and animals and do some hands on work. The work wasn't difficult at all and the community was really reasonable with the hours. It's very basic living which was a nice break after travelling, and it was also nice getting to meet so many other travellers!

I absolutely loved my experience here at the community's farm! The housing was great and the community was an excellent cook. The work was not too hard and felt impactful to improve the area. The collection of animals was so entertaining and everyday was so enjoyable! the community is a great host and the two weeks that I was here went by way too fast!
