Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy buena. Recomiendo mucho este voluntariado: las tareas son simples (principalmente lavandería y hacer camas) y normalmente se completan en menos de 5 horas. El lugar es cómodo, la ubicación es perfecta para conocer Bucarest, y además tuve la oportunidad de explorar otras partes de Rumania y conocer a varios viajeros. Es un hostal tranquilo (no social), así que si buscas un ambiente relajado y con calma, te va a encantar.

Muy gratos momentos he vivido en el hostel, es un hostal muy agradable, limpio, seguro y divertido. Fernando y Carmen son muy amables y siempre dispuestos a apoyarte en todo lo que necesites. Súper recomendado!!

Victor es una persona muy agradable y siempre sonriente, cumplio con sus tareas perfectamente y siempre ofrecia su ayuda en diferentes areas aun cuando ya habia terminado su turno, fue muy grato contar con Victor ese par de semanas!
Lamentablemente no pude dar mi opinion dentro de las fechas que da worldpackers para hacerlo pero recomiendo a Victor al 100%

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue perfecta Fernando y Carmen son personas súper amables, interesantes e inteligentes. Me recibieron en su hostal con toda la amabilidad en el mundo y tuvieron paciencia al explicarme como llevar acabo mi voluntariado, pero aún más importante, me trataron con mucho respeto y cariño. Me llevo muchísimas memorias y amistades bellísimas del hostel. Espero poder regresar pronto. A cualquier persona que esté interesada en participar en un voluntariado con Fer y Carmen, no tengan dudas en aplicar, no se van a arrepentir.

Fernando y Carmen fueron excelentes hosts, desde el día uno me sentí como en casa y me hicieron sentir parte de la familia. Me divertí mucho en mi estancia, conocí mucha gente. Sin duda volvería a regresar. Pase un tiempo increíble. Los siento parte de mi familia, y voy a volver a visitarlos en cuanto pueda. Muchas gracias por todo.

Mí experiencia con Carmen y Fernando fue fantástica, fue mí primer voluntariado y no podría haber sido mejor. Me recomendaron que hacer en la ciudad, hablamos sobre cultura, política y hasta fuimos a tomar tragos. Las tareas fueron simples y me mostraron como hacer cada cosa. El hostel se siente como una casa de amigos y todas las instalaciones son muy cómodas, además está ubicado en pleno centro y todo está cerca. Sin dudas volveré al hostel ya sea como voluntario o huésped.

Where do I even start… My time in Bucharest has been a journey of learning and introspection that I never imagined having in my life. From day one, I knew good things were going to happen in that place, especially because I met Carmen and Fernando. They have always been kind, respectful, fair, warm, supportive, and incredibly welcoming from the very first day I walked into the hostel. They have also allowed me to learn from my mistakes and opened the doors for me to truly understand this culture and society. I will never forget this experience and the opportunity to get to know the hostel family!

This was my first volunteering opportunity and it could not have been better! Carmen and Fernando are wonderful people and made me feel at home and the hostel is super clean! I will miss it😙

I had a wonderful time working at the hostel. I originally applied for the Housekeeping role but was offered a Receptionist position instead. My shifts were from around 4pm to 10pm, five days a week, and my tasks included checking in guests, giving tours of the hostel, selling drinks and items, and helping answer questions. Carmen and Fernando are great hosts — patient, kind, and fun to work with. During my month here, I gained valuable life skills and met amazing people who became lifelong friends. Thank you so much!!
