Our chef experience requires experience it is is only for people who have a love for cooking, have some professional, or advanced life experience + know vegetarian meals.

We have a kitchen in the cloud forest that is rustic but fully stocked. We love to cook great food and create great experiences with our staff and volunteers. We make healthy food from all over the world.

We make incredible ferments and always are experimenting.

Programa detallado

Farm life in a rural cloud forest. Being Close to Nature is part of day-to-day life. The farm currently has cats, dogs, chickens, geese, turkeys, ducks, cuy, and rabbits. We are passionate about reforestation, biodiversity, community care, and soil health.

The chef position you have the option to help cook for the group as well as working on the farm or other tasks as well. Each day we offer different options for work. There is always a choice between working inside the farm house or working outside in the farm.

Actividades & Turnos

Volunteers meet in the kitchen at 8 am in the morning.
Around 9:30, have a large breakfast. We love to cook here. All volunteers help clean up after the meal. Then, generally will work until lunch break. If more hours are needed to complete the 5 hours then someone would work after lunch. We provide 3 meals a day. Dinner is often a simple soup.

Reglas

There is no drinking or drug use allowed here.
We listen to music that makes plants grow.
New Volunteers need to arrive Monday through Thursday.
