Sin ninguna duda mi voluntariado en el hostel no podria haber sido mejor! Tenia altas expectativas y aun asi lo superaron con creces! Aline y Roy son unos excelentes anfitriones pero mas que nada unas grandes personas, estoy muy agradecido con ellos. Ademas el equipo del staff era espectacular, teniamos un muy buen ambiente y nos volvimos verdaderos amigos. Incluso el trabajo del voluntariado estaba bastante bien, e incluso divertido. Espero poder volver el año que viene porque me llevo los mejores recuerdos!

Una hermosa experiencia! El hostel está siempre impecable, y la terraza es ideal para disfrutar las comidas y tiempo libre con voluntarios y huéspedes. Hermoso grupo de voluntarios!! Roy y Aline son muy amables y me recibieron súper bien. Son bastantes horas de trabajo por día, pero se compensan bien con los dos días y medio off cada dos días trabajados. Las tareas son simples, solo hay que seguir las indicaciones. A dos cuadras de la playa, ideal para disfrutar Albufeira en tiempo libre 🥰

Palabras para describir ese mes en el hostel sobran, aún así escribiendo una carta no estarían ni cerca de sentir lo que es esa casa grande . Estuve un mes y para mi fueron solo dos semanas. Tengo una familia, todos son excelentes personas desde Roy hasta el último parte del staff, que te ayudan en las tareas y están siempre para lo que uno necesita. Esa terraza tiene MISTIC . Sé que suena a muy armado lo que escribo, pero si tenés la posibilidad de ir al Hostel cuando regreses a tu ciudad vas a dar cuenta que en realidad lo que escribí es poco. Super recomendable, no lo duden.

I had the time of my life at OTH! Roy and Aline (and of course Sunny!) are amazing hosts who truly care about their volunteers and also love to spend time with us😍 also I really liked the work at the hostel, as you get to meet so much people from all over the world. After this experience I know I have a second home in Portugal♥️ #OTHFamily #sunsettour♥️

One of the best experiences of my life! I spent a month at the hostel for my first volunteering adventure, and it couldn't have been better. The hostel is super nice and always clean, and the staff and owners are absolute gems – they make you feel like part of the family. The work is really chill, and you have lots of free time to explore the city, meet new people, or just relax. I'm so grateful for this experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to volunteer! :)))))))

I spent the whole month of July at the hostel and I honestly couldn't have dreamed of a better place. The team is incredibly welcoming, kind and generous — they truly make you feel at home from day one. The energy of the place is so special: calm, cozy, and vibrant all at once. Guests come in as strangers and leave as friends (and it's not just a slogan — it's real!). I'm deeply grateful for everything I've experienced here. It's a place you'll carry in your heart long after you leave.

Volunteering at the hostel was a great experience! Shifts were as agreed and scheduled a month in advance. The upstairs the hostel is an amazing hangout spot, it's close to the beach, and the team was super welcoming. Sunny, the hostel dog, made the experience extra special.

Im very grateful of my time in OTH, they really treat everyone as a part of a family. The hostel is very well organized, clean and well managed and the work is very easy. The only thing that doesn't fit me very well was the location in the center of Albufeira. Indeed, it's perfect if you are a party person but in my case i found it a bit overwhelming. So if you are more of a chill person i suggest you to find another place. Other than that i would 100% recommend to work for OTH. Thank you for everything i will keep a part of you in my heart ❤️

I absolutely loved this hostel and the staff. Everyone was very welcoming and they offer great facilities for the staff and volunteers. I was working two days (8 hour shifts) and had two days off which was great for me since I had a lot of time to explore during my free time. My tasks were mainly cleaning but also check-outs and check-ins. Shift always started slowly, then a higher pace in the middle when guests checked out, and then ending in a bit slower pace again while waiting for check-ins = a good balance. The hostel really felt like home. I'd come back for sure! 🤩

10 stars!!!... Roy & Aline excellent people. They have a hostel that looks like a 5 ⭐ hotel, it everything up to gym and pool, all the facilities and very complete and in excellent condition. They are very organized people who make things work properly, clean, tidy in a very cozy atmosphere. Instead, They make guests as well as volunteers feel at home... It doesn't say in the program that they provide breakfast but they provide the ingredients... just say that loved it!!.. and it's a shame my time was short.
