I had a great time at the hostel and I met a lot of cool people. The staff that work here are genuinely fantastic and so welcoming. It was a great first experience to have working in a hostel, I had so much fun with a lot of the guests as well. I loved my time in Dubrovnik and i'll definitely be back to say hello

The experience was not was I expected and felt more like a job rather than an experience to meet people or culture. The tasks weren't the same as what they published or was told in the interview, where it was understood that the tasks would be easy, and there would be a lot of interacting with guest in activities, it wasn't like that. In my opinion is not worth working 6 hr a day (30 per week) just for one bed when the work is hard, and harder when is high season. The team was very nice, Adriana does the best for making a good environment for volunteers.

I had a good time in Dubrovnik, but there were definitely a few things that have to be improved for it to be a great experience! For the hours you have to work and the difficulty of the tasks, I think what you get in return is not enough. Also I had the feeling that the host did not appreciate the volunteers enough and doesn't recognize how important they are for his hostel. But thanks to the really amazing and lovely staff members I enjoyed my time nevertheless!! Thank you Adry for always trying your best to make us feel comfortable and appreciated!! :))

The hostel is super social and I wasn't there in high season. Running the activities is so fun. Adriana and Milan make you feel really welcomed. At times, I was made to do tasks that volunteers shouldn't be doing. Such as, I was made to scrub paint off of the walls and floor for 4 hours to which the owner Dario said I hadn't done a good enough job. Also, the volunteers were told we would be able to do certain activities for free, but later were told that Dario chose not to give them to the volunteers. There is lot's of heavy lifting. I'd definitely still recommend it as Dubrovnik was amazing!

I mostly worked/communicated with Dario when I was there. He was kind and respectful. I was volunteering during low season, so I didnt see any of the overcrowding that others left reviews about. The room you share with other volunteers is small, but clean and you had a decent size kitchen. I really appreciated their flexibility with me since I had to leave after two weeks due to a family health emergency. But the time I was there I greatly enjoyed myself. You will get to live in the heart of the city and have a lot of great experience with the locals, nightlife, etc. Thank you the hostel!

My time at the hostel was an experience that I will never forget. Work was what was expected & hours were respected. From the other volunteers, to the full time staff, to the guests, and the locals, I met amazing people. The hostel is in a great location, and is very social. Sometimes there was some disorder within the organization causing volunteers beds to be moved around. Despite this, I would reccomend this opportunity to anybody who has a flexible mindset and is open to dealing with peak season the hostel Dubrovnik. Thank you to everyone from the hostel for the best summer ever.

I had an amazing time at the hostel. Dubrovnik is a beautiful, lively city that never got the hostel to me. But the best part of this experience was getting to meet so many new people and connecting with the other volunteers. Hostel life is crazy and sometimes things can get unorganized, but if you are able to adapt and have a 'go with the flow' mindset you will have a great time! Thank you to the staff and all the other volunteers ❤️

This was my first experience volunteering at a hostel and I absolutely loved it. I've met the most incredible people and the hostel is a lovely place to stay. The only thing I would say needs to be improved is the organisation as sometimes decisions weren't made until very last minute and caused extra unnecessary stress but other than this, the work was easy and enjoyable. I've fallen in love with Dubrovnik and I can't wait to try volunteering in other locations.

The hostel was a lovely experience overall! I loved the social aspect and meeting other volunteers/travelers. Matea and Dario were great hosts; but because there's recently been a shift in management, each day had the potential to be quite unorganized. The tasks were easy; however I do wish that the training was a bit more concise. There were many cases of the receptionists/housekeepers getting mad at the volunteers for not doing a task that the volunteers were unaware that they had to do. This seemed to clear up a lot towards the end of my stay though!! Overall, amazing experience :)

This was my first volunteer experience and it was truly a wonderful experience. In the 2 months I spent here I met the most incredible people. From the other volunteers/staff to the guests from around the world coming in and out. The owners Matea and Dario were amazing hosts! Really understanding and helpful. The volunteer work is basic cleaning, laundry, checking in and taking guests out on activities. I had so much fun and enjoyed my time here. I would do it all over again!
