I stayed 2 months at the guest house and I had an amazing time. I can't find the right words to express how I felt there. Mari, Yolina and Venko were generous, kind, and welcoming.🫶🏻❤️ They provided a lot of things, bicycles, basic cooking ingredients, ping pong table, darts and sport equipment. The work was as described in the position, it lasted usually 3 hours. It was well organized, easy to follow and the tasks were clear. The surroundings are lovely, it is a small village but so beautiful. There are many hikes to do and you can easily enjoy the lake. I recommend volunteering there!

I absolutely recommend it!!! My stay there was incredible, I am very happy to have shared time with my colleagues Estelle and Claudia, thank you very much to Marie and her family who were always so loving!! I take the best memories with me without a doubt. And I would definitely come back!!! 😍

Meus dias em Dobriach foram incríveis! Eu fazia minhas tarefas e depois ia explorar o bairro, a cidade. A Yolina e o Venko foram gentis, amáveis e muito acolhedores comigo. Passei as festas de fim de ano lá e eles fizeram questão de me incluir. De fato, uma experiência que vou levar no coração ♥️

One of the highlights was the stunning view from my room — I was fortunate to stay in a guest room instead of the volunteer room. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The work itself was straightforward and usually finished before 2 PM. I was given €25 a week for groceries, for lunch and dinner. There's also plenty of free time to explore the surrounding area, with beautiful hikes and views of the Alps. A tip for future volunteers: if you speak German or Bulgarian, communication will be much easier, as the family is Bulgarian. ❄️🏔️🌲😆🫶🏼

This is has been my favourite experience so far! The hosts are awesome, Marie is a truly amazing person, the place is wonderful and you can always go hiking or connect with nature. Can't describe in words how much I liked to being a volunteer there. I highly recommend this experience

I'm so grateful and feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to explore Döbriach :) Marie and her family are super welcoming and lovely; we worked as a team. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day :). Dóbriach is a lovely town. It is located around a beautiful lake, with incredibles mountains that I loved every day when I went for hiking and I met wonderful people who became friends. Thank u so much Marie, Arno, Yolina, and her dad, for your generosity, kindness, and empathy. It was beautiful, and there are not enough words to say thank u for this amazing experience¡Dankeschön! 💜

I loved my time in Döbriach and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to volunteer at the guest house! The work is well organized, super easy to learn and mainly consists of cleaning private rooms in the guest house. Döbriach is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. It has stunning nature/mountain views and it's filled with lots of hiking trails and biking trails, it's truly a breathtaking place. I can't thank Marie and Arno enough for all of their generosity, kindness, support and never ending conversations 🫶

This was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. Marie and her family are very kind and welcoming. The area is beautiful with many opportunities to hike, bike ride, explore and swim if it's warm enough. The work is super manageable, about 3 hrs a day depending on how busy the guesthouse is and you have so much free time before and after work. The accommodation was always warm and comfortable. I was also lucky to meet some really gorgeous people there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking for a bit of peace and to explore a beautiful part of the world :)

10/10 would recommend! Marie, Venko and Yolina are very warm and kind people and will welcome you to their family😊 The surrounding nature is incredible, I took many hikes and runs in the mountains. This place is perfect for someone who loves outdoor activities and sports! I also met many other volunteers from different countries, so it was nice to always have company. Marie was very generous and had dinner with us many times and we even went to the gym together! The work is very easy and I enjoyed it everyday. Most days it doesn't take more than 2-3 hours and the rest is free time.🤩🫶🏻

I really enjoyed my time here! Breakfast was delicious and the surrounding nature was so so beautiful. I loved cycling with the bikes and hiking in my spare time. Marie and her parents were so generous and kind. Thank you for such a lovely volunteer experience :)
