I beleive Sarah is a great person. But she kicked me out after couple hours. We had a misunderstanding. She asked me to bring mangos. So I did. Did not want to carry the price of the mangos in my head so I texted it to her. I mentioned that I would like to start well with her. For some reason she saw it as a threath. I understand she was stressed out as she is dealing with a lot of challenges. I appreciated that we prayed before I left and a volunteer helped me to carry my stuff to near village. There is a learning for both of us. Afterall, I feel greatful about this experience.

Thanks for your reply Simon. Yes, I did ask you to leave right away. Simon sent a strange text to me about and hour after he arrived. He was threatening to leave early because he needed money for some mangoes he bought for us when he was on his way. I was out on a walk. The message was just very weird and it made me feel like it would be better to have him go. He was already in the local area and I approved his last minute stay 2 days before. We fed him lunch + bought him dinner + paid for a hotel + have him 120 soles. He asked for more money the next day as well but I feel we did enough. Hope you find your way.

The time spent at the project was very fulfilling. There were other international volounteers and together with Sarah and local workers, we immediately bond to work together as a group. The place is just magical and Sarah is always a step ahead to think about new activities that can enrich the project and the community.

I can't summarise how special the project is in words, especially not in a short review. Sarah is the most wonderful, uplifting, supportive and kind person. The work she does at the farm and for the community (and for the world!) is so inspiring. Working on the farm never really felt like work, as we were allowed to use our initiative and channel into our skills and hobbies, and could work on projects we enjoyed and were passionate about. You are trusted more than most volunteering opportunities which I really appreciated, and it made your contribution feel even more special. Thank you 🩷

The project is a very peaceful place that offers a lot of flexibility in regard to tasks and daily schedule. Sarah, the host, is very welcoming, and I enjoyed her positive attitude. The workers at the farm, are kind and helpful. I really enjoyed the fresh food that we had the joy of preparing and eating every day. The other volunteers were amazing. This is also a great place to volunteer if you would like to da weekend trip to Machu Picchu, as it is not too far. Sarah has great plans for the farm and wants to see the community prosper.

My experience at the farm was 10/10. The place has such beautiful energy and it's all thanks to Sarah, she was a amazing host and made me feel home. She will make sure you do tasks you'll enjoy and take into account everyone's skills and desires. I met amazing people, including the workers. The food was delicious, everything was home made and natural, every meal was a special moment. I got to enjoy nature, views from the house are breathtaking and there are many places to explore within the area. Thank you Sarah for making this experience so significant you have a really kind and unique soul

Sarah has created an incredibly kind and relaxed environment. I loved being surrounded by so much nature, lovely people and it was great having the time to explore the area. I enjoyed the work and loved that we were able to do tasks that suited our skill sets or helped us to learn new skills- there's also so much room for creativity. I'm excited to see what the project gets up to next - there seems to be some very interesting and impactful projects in the works and if I ever visit Peru again I would love to come back.

My time at the project was truly amazing! ❤️ Sarah has crafted a special place where people work, relax, and connect. Everyone is not just friendly but incredibly kind and supportive. Sarah fosters an environment where you are encouraged to pursue what you love, allowing for genuine personal growth. The house provides a comforting, homely atmosphere, and there are numerous activities to enjoy during free time. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, the time I spent here was absolutely incredible. There is a bright, friendly, calming & inspiring atmosphere about the place and Sarah is a shining soul who is supportive & welcoming to all volunteers. If you want to have a great time in Peru & see places you might not see doing the typical tourist routes this place is ideal. I loved the work here, it's diverse & Sarah allows you to play to your strengths, whilst also learning new skills if you are interested. Overall if you like nature, good food & good people, you should come!

Sarah me recebeu de braços abertos, tive oportunidade de fazer amigos, aprender muito, conhecer o Peru, viajar e me conectar com a natureza. Desde o primeiro dia me senti abençoada pela oportunidade e muito se deve aos cuidados que a Sarah ofereceu. Tivemos oportunidade de passear juntas, em muitos momentos se preocupou comigo, seja em relação a alimentação pois não sou vegetariana mas também em me dar tempo para resolver minhas coisas pessoais. Uma experiência para a vida e agradeço que a Sarah abriu a casa dela para me receber. Recomendo como grande anfitriã e pessoa abençoada que ela é.

Thank you to Sarah and everyone on the project for a truly enriching and wonderful experience. This was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers and I couldn't have picked a better place! Sarah is a very warm, kind and caring person, she is very passionate about the work being done at the farm, and this really shines through to what they have achieved so far here. There was a real community feel here with all of the volunteers and those who worked for Sarah, I felt welcomed and safe from the beginning. I learnt lots of valuable skills and felt connected to nature.
