Mi experiencia en el proyeto fue profundamente transformadora. La gente que trabaja allí es realmente admirable: contienen, educan y dan amor genuino a los niños, con una entrega enorme y un corazón inmenso. Todo se hace a pulmón, con la mejor intención y mucho compromiso. Es una experiencia que te deja aprendizajes reales y para toda la vida. Los niños son verdaderos maestros: educados, respetuosos y llenos de amor para dar. La gente que trabaja alli siempre está disponible, es generosa y tiene la mejor predisposición para ayudar. He estado un mes en la organización y puedo decir que ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Se preocupan por los voluntarios para que estes a gusto, desde el primer día me sentí bienvenida por los niños y el personal. Ha sido precioso poder conocer su cultura y sus costumbres ayudando en actividades diarias. Sin duda, recomendaría esta experiencia.

Pasé 5 semanas en la organización y pude incorporarme en la dinámica cotidiana. Fue una experiencia maravillosa! Estoy super agradecida por la oportunidad de compartir con todas las personas que forman parte de esta gran familia, incorporarme en las actividades de su día a día, intercambiar ideas y recursos para colaborar a que el proyecto crezca y que por tanto los niños de la organización tengan mas posibilidades! Todas las personas que forman parte te hacen sentir realmente bienvenida. Es una experiencia significativa y profunda, para expandir las formas de amor que conocemos! Siempre en mi corazón!

La experiencia fue genial, se portaron super bien y los niños son muy agradecidos. Si que me hubiera gustado saber qué llevar y qué necesitan en ese momento para poder ayudar más (recomiendo coordinación con otros voluntarios ;) ). Jugamos, pintamos, cantamos, bailamos... Todo lo que propongas se puede hacer con ellos.

Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable y ojalá todo el mundo pueda vivirla, ya que no solo cambia tú forma de ver las cosas, sino que también te cambia como persona. Los niños son super agradables y cariñosos y siempre están riéndose lo cual es algo maravilloso, ya que disfrutan de cada día cómo si fuera el último. Este voluntariado me ha hecho darme cuenta de lo importante que es aprovechar cada minuto del día al máximo, dando siempre lo mejor de cada uno. Nunca olvidaré esta experiencia tan importante y maravillosa, y ojalá volver algún día.

My experience at the project was truly one of the greatest experiences I have. I was staying at the project for 1.5 month, and during that time I got to experience everything - many goods and I also faced challenges. I think you have to come to the project with an open mind. And the project is truly a beautiful place - Joseph and the other staff really dedicate their lives to the children. The children are truly lovely and one of my biggest wishes is to see them again one day.🥹❤️ I also loved my routines at the project like milking the cows, washing clothes, farm etc. Noah is also THE best host - truly!!!❤️

The project is a special place filled with love and the purest joy from the children. I only spent a week here but that was more than enough to form a deep and lasting bond with them. Noah is a wonderful host: kind, genuine and always ready to help with anything you need. The safari he organizes is absolutely amazing and I can't recommend it enough. If you're thinking of coming here, my one piece of advice is - come with an open heart and mind, embrace the surprises and you'll have one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. the project will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Priyanka has been one of the best volunteers for Umoja. I really wanted to write the best review for her but I was caught up with time. Priyanka has been so active helping out in so many ways. We really appreciate her, however it was only one week but she was able to do a lot and made a positive impact for the kids in Umoja. My experience at the project was absolutely incredible and life-changing. The kids are amazing and so full with love and joy. I really enjoyed playing and learning with the little ones, as well as supporting the teenagers with their daily tasks and homework. Everyone made me feel completely at home from the very beginning. Noah was always there to help me with anything I needed during my stay, and he's doing a wonderful job welcoming volunteers for the orphanage.

My time at the project was deeply meaningful and transformative. It played a significant role in my personal growth and gave me the opportunity to experience a reality very different,and more challenging,than the one I'm accustomed to. Joseph is doing remarkable work, ensuring that the children have access to both safety and education. The kids themselves are full of energy, intelligence, and affection. Volunteering at the project was incredibly varied and adaptable, each task allowed me to become fully engaged in their daily lives and culture.
