This place will have a special place in my heart. The atmosphere of the Center is amazing, you can see they love the place - the monks are a joy to be around, learn from them, even with the language barrier. The work can be tiring sometimes but mostly when the task in under the sun; they have fans everywhere and air conditioning in the closed rooms which was a must to the resting times. But it's truly rewarding with all the knowledge you get from them. It was an amazing 1st volunteer experience, great to learn about being present and enjoy what you have and the nature we all come from ✨

I've spend 10 amazing days at the Center, the monks, Beam and all the people there were so nice, caring and happy to teach you things about the Center, buddhism, vipassana… The work can be a bit physical because of the heat but it is fine ! The food is good, you can try a lot of new things and the dogs make everything even more great. It was my 1rst volunteering and I would a 100% recommend it !!

My experience and the Center centre was incredibly special. It truely did feel like coming home. Everyone was so incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The jobs were very enjoyable, being out in nature, there own the Center practice themselves. I am very grateful and honoured to have been welcomed into such a sacred space and have learnt so much in my time here. Thank you!!

Achei uma experiência que vale muito a pena ser vivida, com certeza aprendi muito, dá pra perceber como o budismo é parte fundamental da cultura tailandesa. Tem que ir consciente de que o trabalho pode ser pesado às vezes e que a rotina é muito bem definida, tem pouca flexibilidade. Quanto mais interesse você demostrar, mais vão ensinar.

I had an amazing time at this Buddhist the Center. The people were welcoming, the food was incredible, and they even took us to the beach twice. However, be ready for some demanding manual labor if that's not your thing. Also, if you want to learn more about Buddhism, you need to actively seek information. Overall, a fantastic experience and met some wonderful people!

Thanks for the opportunity ! I feel lucky to have lived along the monks in the center and participate to the chanting and the Center everyday. The place is very peaceful and everyone is nice. Working hours could be quite physical sometimes but it was fun and the work is often different, so you don't get bored. Having a the Center class to understand Vipasanna better would have been nice.

I had an amazing time at the Center MC! I learnt alot about staying present which for me as an over thinker has helped my life dramatically. I loved having a great routine everyday with the Center and chanting included. The only thing I will say to anyone is to bring separate work clothes and the Center clothes as your clothes will get dirty when working and it can be tough sometimes but it's all worth it! The place is so peaceful and relaxing I felt very calm and content here. The accommodation and food is amazing and I learnt alot from the monks about Buddhism. I would love to return!

It was my second time at the center, and again it was amazing! There's no better place to go if you wanna learn about Buddhism and the Center, also you learn a lot about yourself as you practice meditations. All the monks are amazing, had such a great time with them, teaching English, learning Thai, gardening, cleaning, it was fantastic. If you thinking about going to this please please keep in mind about the rules and the behavior around the chanting area and the monks. Had an amazing time, already planning my return

I have no words to describe how amazing this experience was! If you want to learn more about Buddhism and the Center that's the place! All the staff and the monks we absolutely lovely, we did a lot of gardening and I had the opportunity to learn more about myself and my mind!

I stayed at the Center for 11 days. It was amazing to live the same way as the bhikkhuni and get to know yourself more due to the Center. The volunteer work is kinda satisfying to do, it goes from cleaning up leaves to chopping wood. The people you meet at this place are all so kindhearted and easily to connect with. All in all I think the price of 200 baht is quite a bargain, it would certainly be worth double that.
