Great location in the city center, it's a quite small hostel and is being renovated, so better structures, especially kitchen, which wasn't great when I was there should be better. The work isn't too demanding, I was in charge of reception however we didn't have any fixed schedule in advance. I was well treated by everyone and you can be put for free on some nearby cities tour. Also Nada the cleaning lady is such a sweet heart and was a real highlight to my stay there :)

It was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed the hostel, Jeff is awesome! The tasks in a fact, could be in the beginning a bit confusing so is such important to be opened and talk about the tasks and your daily shift cause the organization is not the best. But ofc if u can handle that for sure is a great experience, u learn a lot and meet a lot of people around all over the world! Thank u Jeff for sure I will come back!

My experience volunteering at the hostel in Dubrovnik was amazing! I was warmly welcomed by the team and the hosts. I worked at the reception, where I had the opportunity to lead the hostel alone for one week, was an enriching experience! The hostel's location is excellent, situated at old town, easy access to all the city's attractions! The hosts, Azur, Alen, Nada, Jeff, and Ave, were always very helpful and willing to help! Besides work, we had leisure moments like karaoke nights and conversations! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience the hostel!

I had a great experience volunteering at this hostel. I was treated with a lot of respect and care by Alen and the entire team, which made my stay even more special. I also received some amazing tours as a gift! While the place could improve a bit in overall organization, it's still a safe and fun option for volunteering.

In my experience, volunteering here was very good, everyone treated me with kindness and respect. From Alen who was always very friendly and flexible, the cleaning staff who were very kind, and the chatty guests haha I loved the city and the beaches, I wish I could come back soon! I recommend the experience because being in charge, you develop skills that empower you to be proactive and resolve conflicts with ease, and that's what I love most about my life as a backpacker, the way each experience impacts me. I feel very grateful for the hospitality here and wish you all the best!

Alen is the man. This place is a big undertaking to look after but he shows you the ropes and is patient and listens well. He trusts the staff and shows a lot of care for the place and the people. If you're not sure on how to run a hostel you will be taught and they have done very well with the place. Can't wait to see what the place is like when they renovate the spot. Look forward to coming back here again. Thanks for the lessons and the great memories.

I will for sure miss Kingslanding hostel and the views from the terrace! Alen and Azur were veryy sweet and respectful. The tasks were as described, some days were by nature way more laid back than others. The free boat tour was genuinely breathtaking. Recommend for nature lovers and nomad travellers!!! Would be back for sure to the amazing castle :))

For me it was ágios experience, I managed to reach my goal of meeting new people and practicing english.. Alen and Jeff are sweet! My biggest problem was the lack of organization regarding check-in and check-out, but I started to get ahead of myself and always ask for help when changing the bed sheets. I recommend it to anyone who wants to live the place which is beautiful and meet lots of people :)

Dubrovnik is a lovely place and I enjoyed being there and meeting other travellers, however my volunteer experience was not great. Alen and Azur are nice and the boat tours they offer are fun, however Jeff (the boss) was rude to me and the other volunteer and made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The other volunteer and I had to share a tiny single mattress on the floor because the owner overbooked the hostel. We were also made to unclog drains and scrub black mould and pink mould, which made the girl volunteering with me sick. They also tried to make us work longer than the agreed hours.

Was definitely a lot of fun and met amazing people , had amazing experiences. But there was for sure come cons of working at this place, super unorganised and odd management. Very happy to answer any private questions about the experience (it's worth asking about )
