It was magical for me! If someone wants to experience a genuine sustainable farm life, this is absolutely the one. I wanted a break from the digital, urban and fast paced life and experience the nature and simple joys. This stay has given everything I could ask for. I enjoyed the cool and fresh breezes, a night sky full of stars, the smell of earth and rain, the chirps of birds, a warm and cosy wooden cabin, simple-healthy and tasty food, some jazz and country music, chickens and ducks, friendly folks from Museros village, and the list goes on. Thank you Jose for the warmth and flexibility :)

I had a wonderful time in Museros. Jose is a very caring and kind person and really makes you feel at home. There is one room in the wooden hut. with two bunk beds where everyone sleeps (host and volunteer(s)) which was fine for me. I practiced my Spanish and we had some nice conversations (just know: if you talk about politics, you will be confronted with some conspiracy myths). The location was one of the best parts for me: the project is in the middle of orange fields, a nice calm place. By bike to the beach it's 40min, to Museros 15min where the metro goes to Valencia in 30min.

I stayed 3 weeks with José and it was an amazing experience. I went there for practicing Spanish and he really helped me with it, we had a lot of interesting conversations. It was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have wished better. The location is also great I was really free and I had time to discover Valencia and also to learn surf for exemple. So again thank you Jose for being such a kind and open minded person, I will never forget how much things I have learned during those 3 weeks !

Staying at José's place has been a great experience! He's a charming individual with great knowledge about the world, and a lot of good stories. Furthermore, he is very helpful and patient to one learning Spanish, so my Spanish has vastly improved while being here. The work depends a lot on what tasks are at hand, but is generally very achievable. This is a less strict, but more intimate experience, as he only has 1-2 voluntaries at a time and all live together in the same house. Great opportunity if you actually want to learn Spanish and learn about Spanish culture. ¡Gracias Pepe!

I spent three weeks volunteering on this farm, and it was a great experience! The work was varied—like weeding, feeding chickens, taking apart pallets, and even helping build a cabin. Hours were manageable (9 AM to 1:30 PM), leaving afternoons and weekends free to explore. Jose, the host, is super kind and appreciates the help. The location is fantastic—close to the sea, Valencia, and mountains for hiking. It's also a great chance to improve your Spanish. The setup is quite basic, but if you're open to simple living, it's an incredibly rewarding experience!

Staying with Jose on the eco village farm was not what I was expecting, but was very fun! From the moment I got in the car from Museros station I felt welcomed and at home. I only worked in the morning from 9am to 1/2pm. The work consisted of watering trees, feeding the chickens, pouring & laying cement, and shoveling rocks. My spanish is not the best, but Jose was very patient in teaching me. He has bikes that you can borrow at any time and gives you lots of information about things to do in Valencia. He also took me to the beach, to a music show, and to get drinks a few times.

My experience in the eco village was so nice! José is such a kind and lovely person. I had a great time with him and the other volunteer Suze, so many fun evenings and interesting talks. It was an adventure between a lot of orange trees and no running water haha, but it's just the beginning of a big project. I really want to come back one day, thanks for everything! :)
