This was my first experience as a worldpacker, and it couldn't have been better! Once you get used to Elizabeth's rhythm, everything flows easily. She is a wonderful host, an AMAZING cook, and she knows a lot about Irish history. She also gives great recommendations for places to visit. The work can be a bit demanding at times, but nothing unmanageable, and there's also plenty of time to relax and explore. Depending on the season, you might stay in a chalet outside the house, but it has everything you need to feel comfortable. I truly enjoyed my time with Elizabeth, would definitely come back

The experience was Great! Elizabeth and Sean are wonderful people, they taught me a lot. It was such a pleasure to have met them in the beginning of my experience in Ireland. They were very supportive and kind with me. Totally recommend!

I spent around 10 days with Elisabeth and then most of the time at her brother's place. Staying with her was great! Most of the work was around the house and garden — cleaning, organizing, mowing the lawn, and similar tasks. The days were quite intense and full of little surprises, but I had so much fun and built a wonderful connection with Elisabeth! At her brother's place I lived in a mobile house, but the experience was amazing — there were several families who made me feel part of one big, warm community. Sean and everyone there are fantastic!!

I had a great stay at the guest house. I had a cozy room and even my own bathroom. Housekeeping was most of the work and also lawn mowing once a week (but its quite a huge garden too). I even prepared Irish breakfasts for guests. (I learnt it after watching Elizabeth). I recommend this stay for people who are experienced in housekeeping, who are self-starters and feel comfortable to work on their own and are organised and flexible, because you need to adapt quickly to all sorts of new situations and need to be willing to develop new skills. If you are like that, it will be fun :-).

Ute was a very positive and easy-going lady. And enjoyed good fun! She was very helpful, learned new skills and was a great with guests. We got to travel to west of Ireland for a brief, but fantastic trip. I highly recommend Ute to any potential WP host.... oh, she also makes a wonderful German speciality bread.... she full of life and I wish her well in her next chapter. Thank you Ute.

My experience at the guest house was absolutely one of a kind. Elizabeth has a beautiful home, and the accommodation was very nice! I only shared a room with one other person and we had our own bathroom as well, everything was very comfortable and lovely. The work consisted of general housekeeping and posting on social media, and the days off were very fair- I even went to Derry and Belfast during my stay. I would recommend anyone who is a hard worker for this exchange, as there is always something to be done! I loved exploring Monaghan and meeting the locals as well. Thanks so much Elizabeth!!

This was my first Worldpacker experience, and I am so blessed to have had it with Elizabeth at the guest house. Elizabeth is a remarkable person - she is smart, warm and kind. She welcomes volunteers to her home with open arms, and passionately shares with us all there is to know about the local culture and people. She provides amazing meals, and is the perfect host. I have made a life-long friend from this experience - and I will definitely be back again very soon. the guest house and Monaghan are truly the hidden gems of Ireland - and I'm certified Mad About Monaghan now!

I was blessed to have such an innovative, kind, positive and stellar lady come as a volunteer to my guest(home). house. Sharon was a whizzer, full of enthusiasm and willingness to try everything. She was supper helpful also with the tech end of my business so that was very much appreciated. Elizabeth is an amazing business woman, her house is so beautiful, she always maked me feel like in home. I really recommend going there, she took me to know local places in Monaghan and also to the county Clare that was amazing, she shared with me the Irish culture, food and music which I loved it. If you want to have a peaceful experience bordering nature you must come here!

My experience at the guest house has been wonderful. There, as well as improving my English and getting to know the work of a guest house from the inside, I met Elisabeth, a wonderful and welcoming person who made me feel at home. At all times she has been concerned about my wellbeing, she has offered me exquisite meals and she has made me feel like one of the locals . I recommend the experience 100 percent. Without a doubt I would love to repeat it. I have gained an experience and a wonderful friend 😊.

Volunteering at the guest house was an amazing cultural experience filled with learning opportunities! Elizabeth is very sweet and incredibly hardworking. I feel lucky to have been able to learn so much about Irish culture and see different parts of Ireland with her! I have felt truly immersed in the culture and community and had so much fun attending Irish music festivals, traveling, and meeting the locals! Overall, I have felt very fulfilled being here and enjoyed my stay very much. I thank you Elizabeth, and also Sean, for an amazing experience and great great guidance while in Ireland!
