My name is Amelia and I run with my partner a hostel in the beautiful city of Naples.
Our main goal when creating the place was to share HOPE: hope for a better future, hope for sustainable hospitality and slow tourism, as well as to share creativity and the love for our city. Our hostel is the result of the courage of two people who chose to believe in Naples and its magic. Believing in our own dreams can take us to unimaginable places: hope is the engine of life.
In addition to the rooms, we have a bar and a beautiful garden of around 900 square meters where we host events, workshops, yoga classes in different styles and martial arts, a green oasis of peace and well being in the heart of busy Naples, a space for sharing, socializing and giving expression to your creativity.

Actividades & Turnos

During your stay you will be asked to cover 3,5 night shifts per week in our front office, from midnight to 8 am for a total of 28 hours. We always have 2 volunteers at the same time covering night shifts and you will have the chance to freely decide your working days and also decide to either split the 4th shift or alternate weeks giving you 4 days off on one week and 3 days off the other week.

You will be asked to assist guests at night with anything they may need and you will perform daily front office activities such as check-in/check-out. Since our bar is part of our reception front desk so you will also be asked to serve coffee and drinks, handle payments, clean tables and appliances, as well as manage the bar inventory. We will ask as well to help with some extra activities during your shifts such as cleaning the reception and bar area, keeping the space tidy etc.

Reglas

We offer free accommodation in a private volunteer-only area located inside the hostel, shared with a maximum of four volunteers during your stay. The accommodation includes a private bathroom and a private kitchen, providing a comfortable and independent space exclusively for volunteers, while still being fully immersed in hostel life. In addition, you’ll enjoy an international environment, the opportunity to learn new skills and the chance to actively develop activities based on your interests and abilities.

This is an exchange based on commitment, reliability and mutual respect — balanced with a friendly atmosphere, shared moments and the opportunity to truly be part of our hostel community.

We are looking for responsible, open-minded and proactive people who enjoy working in a team, respect rules and schedules, and feel comfortable in a structured but welcoming environment.
