Loved my experience at the home! I highly recommend to anyone interested in helping the homestay grow, learning more about Malaysian culture, and enjoying a nice, relaxing environment in between volunteering. The island is incredibly beautiful with so much to do. So much to see, and eat, and explore! The owner, Mun is an exceptional human. He's so generous, communicative, and kind. Volunteering is flexible and quite easy and I really enjoyed working alongside Mun and another great volunteer. I can't wait to come back in the future and see how this place is thriving. 💖

I had a fantastic time volunteering at the home, I felt welcomed from the first minute and loved the environment that surrounds the hostel. We were looked after very well by Mun and El, also the other volunteers were welcoming and friendly. Mun is super friendly and lent me money when I was stuck and was beyond kind to us all.

Everything great! It was a really good experience. Mun is always available for a talk or questions. Is low season so work it was easy and take less than expected.

My time at the home was so fun, I was looking to slow down and be in nature and this was the perfect place to do it. The host Mun is a friend first and a manager second, so welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The work is mainly in the morning for breakfast, watering the plants and getting rooms cleaned and ready for new guests. It can be really hot during the day and Mun was always so conscious of staff getting rests and breaks during the day because of this. The hostel is about a 15 minute drive from any of the local towns and beaches but there is a communal scooter sometimes free.

My volunteering experience with Mun, the villa, and the whole team of staff and volunteers was exceptional. Despite it being the low season, I got to interact with lovely guests from diverse backgrounds. Mun always ensured all our needs were met, even surprising us with treats for our efforts. El, the villa's chef, prepares delicious family meals (she made delish Filipino Adobo!). I gained basic skills in service and housekeeping, amidst the breathtaking backdrops of fields and mountains. My entire stay truly felt like home away from home.

The home is simply the best place to be in real contact with nature while you work in the beautiful island of Langkawi (easy and personally even enjoyable tasks, and the guests are always super talkative and friendly people). It's a very chill place surrounded by the home fields with an amazing small team that will make you feel part of the family (Mun and El are suuuuper kind, I'll miss them so much). You will fall in love with the place and the vibes; I did it the very first day and I'm still here!

WOW! It was my first experience as a volunteer and i wish is gonna be like this every time! Mun (the host) is one of the kindest and respectful person i've ever met. He's providing for everything, from food to motorbike to recommendations about special place around the island. His place is something special,you can see the love he put in it. He's a leader not a boss,i strongly recommend this place to everyone also as a guest, you're gonna be in the malaysian culture . P.S.: bonus point if you like cat there are few !!

I really don't understand the two last comments. I just finished my volunteer and it was absolutely wonderful. Mun is great, very welcome and made me feel so safe and comfortable. You really get to stay in a nature environment the tasks you need to do is really easy, Mun always try to be more than fair. You have a lot of free time I mean a lot, and he also have a scooter so you can borrow it and go around the island. Thank you Mun and hope a see you soon again
