I really liked the experience of working in Huitzilin. The work schedule was diverse, everyone helped each other. Breakfasts and activities were very tasty and interesting. I really liked that the hostel is very social and fun. I met many new friends among the volunteers and guests. The hostel informs about events in the city, the atmosphere inside is very conducive to a pleasant pastime, there are various gifts for everyone. The owners of the hostel are very hospitable, friendly, generous people. The system of work is built clearly. I recommend this place to everyone!! Love it very much!!

This was truly a great experience, talking about the hostel, the hostel is super well located, it's near the beach, restaurants and nightlife. The accommodations are good, a little bit of improvement would be nice, but overall it's a nice place to stay. The vibe of the hostel is super chill, great vibes. The hosts are really amazing people, they were so welcoming, caring, social and funny, love them! Gonna miss them a lot. Highly recommend, I'm so happy I got the chance to volunteer here <3

I had a good experience volunteering at Huitzilini, was really easy to connect with other travellers (local and international) the activities at night allow you to socialize and get to know everyone staying there! The location is also very central to move around Puerto coast, as well as the host is flexible when it comes to your schedule. Things that didn't work for me mainly was the communication between the hosts and manager with the volunteers, a lot of times their communication sounded patronizing to me which made me feel uncomfortable a few times and overall organization can be better.

Gracias por tu comentario, cuando hay una falta de compromiso, una llegada tarde constante, una distracción todo el tiempo, el intento de hacer un negocio dentro de un negocio, falta de dinero, entre otras cosas, es difícil trabajar en conjunto.
Agradecemos por tu comentario y lo tomaremos en cuenta como siempre hacemos, eso es lo que nos permite crecer, como personas, como empresa y como anfitriones.
Lamentamos que entre todos los voluntarios que recibimos, seas la unica que tengas una tan mala experiencia con nosotros, pero lo tomamos de quien viene.

Beautiful hostel with a relaxed atmosphere and good vibes, in a great location close to the beach. The volunteer tasks are clear and easy to follow, but there were a few instances of miscommunication between the volunteers and the hosts, which could have been prevented if there was a manager onsite. Everything else was good!

Had a great time volunteering for Huitzilin. Fabián and Jaime are always listening to your ideas and are willing to help you in any way and are flexible. The atmosphere at the hostel is great it just feels like you are living in this place with your friends and having a good time, but you can also mind your own business and can disconnect. Timetable/shifts and tasks are clear. Great activities offered every day at which you can participate as a volunteer. Huitzilin was my home ❤️

J'ai beaucoup aimé mon volontariat au sein de huitzilin ! Les autres volontaires étaient super sympa ! C'est un hostel hyper conviviale avec beaucoup d'activité gratuite ce qui rassemble encore plus les gens ! C'est un chouette endroit pour travailler et vivre !

Huitzilin is the best hostels I've ever known so far. Fabi & Jaime, the owners of the hostel, made me feel very welcomed and provided me with the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. After two weeks of volunteering I got a chance to manage the team of volunteers and it is helping me grow. I'm so lucky to find this place and I'm forever grateful!

My time at Huitzilin was awesome!! The hostel is brand new, with very good infrastructure, including a nice pool. The location is perfect at a very strategic point. The work is easy in general and the vibes of the hostel are incomparable!! I made friends for life and I will definitely come back :).
