I had the best experience at tuichui I was there for 6 weeks and it flew by. There was so much to do in Oaxcxa and so easy to make friends with other volenteers and guests. The team was fantastic welcoming and warm. This was the best way I could have been in Oaxcxa and truly seen and experienced the city. Miss it already !!!!

I volunteered here for several months. I felt safe and comfortable. Plus, I loved the team and the hostel. I also appreciated the support, freedom and flexibility (rare for a volunteer experience). Hours are fair (maximum 25 hours per week w/ at least 2 days off), discount on tours and drinks in the bar, free coffee, etc. Management is also so supportive - Adrian is an awesome leader. He respects the workers and makes it an enjoyable place to work. He also knows how to talk with the people and get things done. the hostel is home :)

I have enjoyed my time immensely. The team are friendly and supportive. The Job is very enjoyable, I was able to experiment with new variations of their cocktails. There are a lot of social events and tours. The guests are great.

I had an amazing time and made life long friends. Work hours and tasks were easy and fun. I feel sad to have left.. i will miss my the hostel family. I worked mostly reception but did a couple of shifts on the bar which was a lot of fun. The hostel is located very centrally in Oaxaca and so much to do and see. My last week they were doing upgrades so the kitchen is now fully stocked with new pots and cutlery etc and they were adding more hot water boilers for the showers. Thank you for this experience ♥️

I had the most incredible experience at the hostel! The staff and other volunteers made my time there so special. They've created a family culture where everyone looks out for each other and I felt immediately welcomed to the team. The working hours are respected and duties very straight-forward. The team were also kind enough to let me have a chunk of time off so I could go on a little trip during my stay. I also went on the tours with the hostel and met so many new people! Thank you so much the hostel family <3.

The hostel is home away from home! The staff is super friendly and they offer flexibility in case you have a personal errand or activity. Besides working at the bar or at the front desk is an enriching experience that allows you to bring the best of you to the hostel, guests and volunteers. If you are talented or passionate about something know for sure that you will have the support of the hostel fam to apply it there if possible.

It was my first volunteer and it was a great experience I had the opportunity to practice my English a lot, and interact with people from all over the world, the host is very flexible with your days off. I really recommend the hostel.

I had the best time at the hostel and would absolutely come back! Rene the manager is amazing and always extremely flexible when it comes to your days off. All working hours are like agreed upon, you can do laundry for free after 8pm and get free drinks at the bar. Definitely recommend!!

Everybody at the hostel treated me like family the moment I set foot in the door. I enjoyed my time so much that I changed my plans and extended my stay! The owners and management team have helped me find a Spanish tutor to improve my language and been extremely accommodating and flexible with work schedules to help volunteers travel and visit places during their stay. I could not have picked a better place for my experience in Oaxaca and I would urge anyone reading this to apply!
