I worked here for two weeks and i had a great time, the management is very understanding and kind. I had a great time here and it's always a party everyday! The benefits were great and i am grateful for this opportunity.

Old quarter the hostel, is a very vibrant city full of places to eat party and make new friends. Everyone is super friendly except some locals that only speak Vietnamese, personally I had an amazing time, made new friends and ate lots of good foods. It's super cheap and thanks to the hostel you get to save lots of $$$. I would recommend this for anyone who is 30 years and below. Party animals, drinkers, party goers, and people with young and energetic vibes. There is lots I can't tell you because you need to experience it yourself. A special thanks to Gabriel and the rest of the staff. Recommended

The hostel is the best thing you can volunteer for. I couldn't stay long but the time I was there was wonderful. Thanks for the people I am so sad that I had to leave but hopefully come back soon. Just apply for it, won't regret it

The hostel was a great place to volunteer at. The staff make you instantly feel welcomed and the work is easy and fun. Definitely recommend to those looking to spend time in the hostel.

I had a great experience in the hostel, the hostel is in really good location in the Old Quarter and the work is pretty easy, I was at the reception and was so good to work with Linda, Thuong, Son and Gabriel! I also had time to explore another cities in the North and did the Ha Giang Loop what was the best experience ever!!! But be aware that the volunteers bedroom is really terrible!! When I read the reviews here I couldn't imagine how bad it was. Our bedroom is in a homestay 30 seconds walking from the hostel, but there isn't a bathroom, we need to use the reception bathroom. So be aware!

Shaira and the rest of the volunteers were amazing people to meet and work with. You will never feel alone during this experience, and I honestly can't think of a better social opportunity. I do have to say though, the homestay, which is not depicted through the Worldpackers website, is not at all a great place to live. It's generally never clean, and it is so hard to sleep. Much of the culture of this opportunity revolves around staying up late, drinking, and not sleeping, so I would not recommend this if you are someone who needs rest and the ability to reset.

My experience was good. I met really cool people, and the alcohol is free! Shaira was an incredible manager. It's a very social hostel with a the hostel terrace, and the reception hours are flexible. What needs to be improved is where the volunteers sleep, it's too small, no windows, no light, dirty, the AC is broken sometimes, and the staff food could also be improved.
