So I will review both of my experiences: My 1st experience was a special one.. very dear to my heart 🥹 I made a beautiful connection with the two other volunteers 💛 The three of us visited Sevilla Feria in April together which was wonderful, a must see! 💃 Also, the flowers in Spring on the farm!!! 🌸🌼 So beautiful! 2nd time- For the month of December I was solo. A little tough sometimes but it made me strong 😅 and it gave me time to really connect with the farm. I also spent Christmas on the farm. It was heart warming, decorating the tree with little Quique 🥹 Thank you for all 💛

We think the communication was off and a lot of things went wrong from the start already. When we arrived they had lot of guests and didn't have time for us and were not really welcoming. Maybe they had a lot of stress because of the guests, but they shouldn't let that affect us. Keep in mind that the title says ''come help us riding the farm'', but no riding for the work was done, only yard work. We decided to leave after 1,5 weeks, because we did not come all across Europe for 6 weeks to not enjoy the experience. The cooked food was great and our accommodation was very good, it was 10min walk

My stay on Enrique's farm was a very good experience. A part from the every day feed my tasks were pretty different every day witch was nice. I enjoyed training the young the farm a lot !The work can be physically hard and feel a bit stressful but spending so much time with the farm was lovely. Esther and Marilou really know how to welcome volunteers and make them feel comfortable !

I worked in the guesthouse with Esther. This involved serving meals to guests and maintaining a clean common area daily. I helped with preparing the guest bedrooms weekly. Esther provided a lot of guidance and support and it was a very calm and friendly environment to work in. The guests were english speakers and were fun to get in to know. For accommodation Enrique and Esther kindly open their home to volunteers. I stayed in a shared room with one other person. We had access to their kitchen and had our own bathroom. There was a lot of free time to spend outside and with the animals.

It was my first Worldpackers experience and I can definitely recommend staying with Enrique and his family. They have a beautiful farm and I immediately was welcomed into their family. They are very generous people and are always making sure that you feel at home. I was able to improve my Spanish and got to know the Spanish the farm better. You have a lot of free time to relax and do what ever you like but I think it is important to mention that next town is a 20min ride away. All in all, I would 100% recommend this position and I am very grateful that I got the chance to experience it.

My time on Enriques yard has truly been an amazing experience. Right from the start i felt welcomed into the family and made amazing friends. The work is more than fair and there is always something new to do so you never feel its repetitive. I cant thank enrique and his wife Esther enough for their generosity. They greatly helped improve my spanish and were extremely patient. The food was also amazing thanks to Esther. I would definitely recommend this position to anyone who is interested.

Staying with Enrique and his family was one of my favourite experiences to date. For me my main tasks were feeding the farm, preparing the farm and leading hacks for the guests, and training some of the younger the farm with Enrique. Enrique is very generous with his days off, on one occasion I went to Seville for two nights, and on the other I went to Malaga for two nights. I will say that personally I feel like I did work a bit more than agreed, particularly on days when guests are staying. However this was never a problem for me because I enjoyed the work anyway. Thank you Enrique and Ester!

Enrique's farm is a true gem in the heart of beautiful Andalucia! My main tasks were feeding the animals, taking care of the farm and lunging. I learned loads about Spanish the farm & cuisine, the countryside and horse related handling. Enrique's philosophy allows the farm and riders to work together in harmony. Therefore, the farm are extremely sensitive, attentive and gentle. The whole family strives to cultivate an environment in which volunteers feel included and at home. The farm is remote but Enrique is very flexible regarding days off, which allowed me to explore southern Spain.

My experience at the farm started in a chaotic time (storms, sickness etc.) and I really planned on staying longer. Due to personal reasons I had to leave earlier, but all in all I had a great time there. I mostly enjoyed the time with the animals. Me and the other volunteers were also able to receive riding classes by Enrique and were allowed to go on a hack by ourselves, which was really nice. It can be stressful when guests are at the farm, but Enrique and Esther trying to make everything possible for us as well, I still hoped for a better organization and communication in this times :) 🫂

Dear Jasmin, with all our love... After 2 days with us you had already decided that you didn't like the place. You didn't like the food when everyone else loved it. You told me you ate vegetarian food and then you only wanted vegan. You told me you knew how to ride a horse and you had no idea... We have felt strongly that you criticize what you see but don't look at yourself.. Good luck

My stay with Enrique and his family was an amazing experience! My main tasks here were feeding the farm, preparing them for rides and doing the hacks with guests. The work was enjoyable, although sometimes can be physically a bit tiring. Personally I did often work more than the hours on worldpackers since we had guests almost all the time when I was there, but this was compensated for (for example I was able to da 3-day trip to Malaga) the farm on the farm are amazing, they're respectful and trained well, which makes them great to work with. The food is great and you never go hungry here!
