The experience was very rewarding Everyone made me feel truly welcome, and the people were incredibly warm and friendly. I really liked the place; however, it could benefit from a bit more maintenance. I think the main area for improvement would be providing clearer guidancethe community the daily tasks and what is expected from volunteers. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely come back.

I can't say nothing about the experience because I never been there, they accepted my application and then I bought the flights, after that they didn't answer for 3 months so I searched another experience, and after these three months the sent me a message and I answered that maybe we could search another dates but the never responded. So nothing to say about the place just about communication I hope they're more kind next time becase I wasted money for nothing 🤷🏻‍♂️

My bf & I volunteered at this retreat centre up in beautiful mountains. It is impossible to explore surrounding areas without a car, if you are happy to enjoy property & stay in nature then not needed. We enjoyed working togetherthe community a common goal, the duties to prepare for upcoming retreat was more than 5hrs a day however Filip was understanding & kind & showed generosity to us in other ways to say thank u. We loved Ciro the chef! He was so fun & kind. Sometimes host can become stressed during retreats, just be proactive & remember to not take things too intensely. Overall, would recommend!

I got a experience nice , I did differents functions, everyday I helped whit cleand of differents apartments and kitchen, bathrooms I learned about how live peoples i also learned A little bit about Italyanl anguage , also maked cook for lunchs and dinners for person of volunteer and the boss , respectful about you Food diet , and piedemonte have beautiful mountains

Estar nesse lugar foi uma das minhas melhores escolhas. Aprendi sobre a comida italiana com Salvo e Sara. Sobre a vida com Trente e muitas outras coisas com cada um que tive contato. Sem dúvida eu voltaria e super recomendo. O lugar é lindo, as pessoas se respeitaram e respeitam os horários dos voluntários. Tudo é acertado direitinho pra deixar a gente confortável. Vivi momentos inesquecíveis com pessoas incríveis.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time atthethethe the community. The grounds are beautiful, it was wonderful to have access to the pool. The owners Trente and Filip are exceptionally kind, loving human beings. Coming from NY, I was often taken aback on their thoughtfulness and consideration. The two paid workers that live there (Sara and Salvo), were very welcoming and helpful as well. I had a great time getting to know everybody. I would suggest this place to other volunteers, who are looking to visit Sicily, and immense themselves in the culture. I found the work to be enjoyable, agreed on hours respected.

This place was what I was hoping to have as a first volunteer experience. Great group of people, Sara and salvo doing and excellent job being there for us and creating this lovely atmosphere and Philip and Trent providing the openness, the space and the means for this great experience to take place. Tasks are super diverse, but with the correct group of people, just a different way to spend your time. the communitylife was amaizing. Thank you thank you thank you! Hope to be back :)

During the first few days, we worked a wedding. As promised, Trente and Filip gave us extra time off the following week b/c of our hard-work in the kitchen with Sara, Salvo, and the volunteers (shoutout to my new friends for LIFE- Sergio, Leo, Matias). Meals were AMAZING- felt like I was in a masterclass. Expectation during work hours: take initiative and be one with thethethe the communitylifestyle! You are surrounded by nature, beautiful sunsets and most importantly, good-hearted people. Till next time, love you all

Throughout my time here I learned more about an eco-concious lifestyle, culture, cooking, painting, and life on the land. Sara is amazing and honest she always make me comfortable to ask and she laugh to much, she works really hard like Salvo & both help us to learn many skills. The activities are painting, cleaning hauses, agriculture, cooking, you never get bored and the time pass fast. you need to know that you will be in the nature and its not easy to go to a many places without car in Sicily. Adventure & flexible people . Filip, when you get the time to know him you will understand his way to show his feelings & his story & humor. I learn about life in all aspects in good and difficult times. 💚 thanks
