O sítio é uma fazenda linda, tranquila e com muitas atividades. Pude ajudar na produção de queijos, na horta e na limpeza do estábulo das cabras. Me encantei com as castanha, com a cadela Alma, com as cabras e com a anfitriã Katrin, uma mulher empreendedora, acolhedora e paciente como o meu espanhol básico. Foi uma experiência inesquecível e muito enriquecedora.

Ficamos 11 dias na granja, juntos de uma outra voluntária. O trabalho é bem pesado, realizamos tarefas como buscar lenha, remover coco das cabras, bem como alimentar animais. Em alguns dias, o trab ultrapassou 5horas diárias (o horário de fazer o almoço não contou como hora trabalhada). Não fomos avisados que precisávamos tomar banho em um banheiro a cerca de 10m de distância da casa, sendo que a temperatura no local estava prox. à 4°C e em alguns momentos a água estava fria. Por fim, nós três resolvemos sair antes do combinado pq não nos sentimos confortáveis para dialogar sobre os empecilhos

You really get what you signed up for at Katrin's place. And I mean that in the best way possible. The atmosphere at the farm is welcoming and the tasks you perform feel meaningful and really connect you with nature. It's the perfect opportunity to get down to earth if you come from a busy place like Santiago or just immerse yourself with animals and people alike. Katrin is a warm-hearted host and it feels like you're part of the project and not like you're just a bystander helping here and there. I recommend anyone to come here that wants to experience the local culture and nature of Chile.

We were supposed to stay here 20 days but at the end we end up to stay here for more than 2 months! The experience was awesome, we felt welcome at Katrin's house from the moment we arrived at the farm! The days flew, lot of things to learn and to do, it was nice to get in touch with nature and all the animals (goats, dogs,cats..). Katrin is a very patience person who explained us all the things and let us learn more about the granja life! I would recommend this experience to people who loves nature and animals. I will keep this experience in my heart💜

This was Chris' and my first volunteer experience and it was fantastic! Katrin is so knowledgeably about the organic industry and treats her animals and us like family. We learnt a lot about taking care of animals such as goats, geese and chicken! Also about cheese production. It's a beautiful peaceful environment to be in, with work as is described on her listing. We ended up extending our stay and we're sad to say goodbye. Until next time. Big love 💕

Passei 10 dias no sítio e para mim foi uma experiência enriquecedora. O lugar é fantástico para quem deseja fugir do stress da cidade grande, da rotina maçante do dia a dia e relaxar em meio a natureza que é exuberante. Também gostei das cabras da Katrin, elas são bem interativas e muito legais. Recomendo!
