My experience in the hostel was great! The staff is really nice and friendly, the hours were clear and respected, there was flexibility to accommodate our schedule needs, really good overall! The only point of improvement is that there is no WiFi on the studio where the volunteers stay, only a mobile phone routing internet, which is often unstable and too slow. Since I had to work online, this was a negative point for me as I often had to go to the hostel outside my shift hours to use the WiFi there or spend some money to work from a cafe. But other than that, everything was perfect!

Fiquei por um mês e o tempo passou rápido demais me senti literalmente em casa muito bem recebido desenvolvi habilidades e fiz amigos que vou levar pra vida e sim indico essa experiência que e completamente diferente e inspiradora estamos falando de histórias, sonhos, aprendizagem. Essa big Family Homstel Taormina já está no meu coração e retornarei com toda a certeza no verão. Muito Obrigado.

Amazing experience with the opportunity to live in a wonderful place. The staff members are very welcoming and friendly, especially Pervina, Francesco, Grazia and Connie. Also the volunteers were so lovely and friendly. I had very beautiful moments there. Definitely recommended!

Eu amei minha temporada em Taormina! O hostel é simplesmente perfeito, com uma vista linda para a cidade e as horas de trabalho passam voando. Os funcionários me receberam super bem e foram ótimos companheiros de trabalho. Recomendo este lugar para se hospedar e passar algumas semanas aproveitando as praias da Sicília.

I had a great time at the hostel! The staff was flexible and understanding, and I got to practice my Spanish a lot. The weekly schedule includes shifts for cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, and in the afternoons and evenings, it's mainly reception and serving drinks. The city is lovely, and I highly recommend this experience. Thanks to Francesco, Pervina, Connie, Facu, and Egle for the warm welcome! 🌟

Taormina Homstel is a lovely place! It's safe, clean and has a beautiful view! The staff's are really kind and I already miss them so much! The work is chill and you have the chance to meet people all around the world! Taormina is a beautiful city with nice beaches, you have plenty of time to enjoy around too

Spending time in beautiful Taormina and surroundings make this experience worth it. My experience at Homstel was good overall. Task are simple and there is some flexibility with the schedule. All members of the staff are very nice, welcoming and fun to work with. Don't expect to stay in the hostel as your accommodation. You might end up in the other building where there are more dorms and where some members of the staff live, or you might end up sharing a studio apartment with other volunteers, which it has it's pros and cons. I recommend this experience for sure.

Voluntariar no hostel foi sinônimo de fazer amigos do mundo todo, formamos uma família e passamos por muitos momentos incríveis juntos! Pude conciliar meu trabalho online com o voluntariado. Dividi uma quitinete com outros dois voluntários, localizado muito próximo do hostel e da via principal de Taormina, que é uma cidade lindaaa e com praias sensacionais! Pude treinar italiano, espanhol e inglês. Meu coração sai desse lugar agradecido por tudo que vivi intensamente. Abraço a todos, espero vê-los novamente! S2

Amazing experience in a beautiful part of Sicily. Francesco, Pervine, Egle and all the volunteers are easy-going and hostile. Never felt bad or alone, they were always around if needed. Working hours are easy and respected, accommodation is nearby and have everything you need. I will definitely come back, Thanks!
