So grateful for the time I got to spend with this amazing family. All of them were so eager to share their love and life with me. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Their kids are very creative, smart, and so much fun. I grew attached to them and will miss them a lot! Vito, Arianana, and everyone else were also very helpful and caring to me. The place is so close to both a train station and the beach. You have the entire morning and weekends to explore or just relax. It's been such a wonderful and unique experience. Very grateful!

Guys...if you love kids, education, are flexible, while making light of every situation, and have high level of energy, then this experience is for you. From the first day until the last Vittorio was an incredible communicator. He not only ensured that everything was running smoothly for his kids but he was always quick to help me with any situation I needed, had any arise. Arianna was also incredible, she was kind, loving, and humorous which made me feel like I was a part of the family. The kids were incredible, they adapted to me as an au pair quickly. The grandparents were also incredible.

A wonderful experience with a very welcoming family! Daily work typically consists of spending time with the kids and helping them practice their english through reading, writing, playing games, etc. I also did a lot of tutoring lessons for the family's english tutoring business. Hours can be long sometimes, but always rewarding and a great way to immerse yourself within the local culture and cuisine. I quickly grew to love the family and feel like a part of it!

A one in a lifetime experience! I stayed for a month and really fell in love with the kids and truly felt like a member of the family. The parents are very warm and welcoming and the kids are eager to get to know you. The mom is an excellent cook and the meals are never short of delicious. I got to try so many authentic Italian dishes. Although the hours can sometimes feel long, as you meet with the family for meals an hour before and after each shift, the work is very rewarding and enjoyable. Overall, an unforgettable experience, and I will miss the kids dearly!

I had a lovely stay with this kind and unique family. The kids and I grew to be very fond of each other and it was very enjoyable to feel like a temporary 'big brother' of theirs. They are all extremely intelligent, confident, and lively in their own ways. Very big personalities! Arianna and Vito are experienced hosts who always made me feel comfortable. As a volunteer you are given private accommodation separate from the house and always wonderful food from Arianna. The English lessons I gave were a valuable experience for me, although it can be challenging. I wish to see them all again soon!

I loved my experience here more than I can express in words. From day one I was welcomed like a part of the family. Vito and Arianna are amazing hosts and were always very accommodating if I needed something. All of the kids are so unique in their own ways and getting to spend my days with them was one of the best experiences i've had so far. The work doesn't feel demanding as long as you are capable of being engaged with the kids the whole time and really enjoy what you do with them. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and i'm glad that I now have a second family in Italy :)

An unforgettable experience. We had an amazing time with Nina, the home, Victor and Nico - developing close bonds with them after a short amount of time. Arianna and Vito are amazing hosts, they were so welcoming, generous and accommodating. This was our first worldpackers experience and there would be no one else we would rather share it with! Our days off were respected and there is lots to see in nearby towns. Overall we would recommend this experience to anyone who is sociable and loves kids! It can be a bit intense at times, but is so rewarding. We are going to miss you guys so much!!!

I worked the afternoon shift, which meant I had the mornings to go for a run, eat some fruit for breakfast, and hang out at the beach until 12:30. Then, at one, I joined the family for a healthy lunch. My shift technically started at 2:00, but I was responsible for diffusing conflict between the kids as soon as I finished eating, usually around 1:30. Then, the kids and I would make movies, practice gymnastics and tennis, do crafts, play pretend, read a book together, and do writing practice in their workbooks. For me it was a good balance of sometimes chaotic family time and relaxation.

I unfortunately had to leave this wonderful family just as we were getting adjusted to one another due to a family emergency I had. I fell in love with the kids on day one and miss my time with them so much! They are so different from each other and incredibly special and kind in their own ways. They are so smart and caring. But keep in mind you are not a nanny/babysitter-- you are supposed to act as a teacher the whole time. I wish that this was communicated a bit more clearly, as it is a lot more work than simply entertaining and hanging out with kids.

Hello Keeley, we're sorry to hear now that the message didn't go through. This is why we always send previous girls' reports before confirming someone, and during video calls, Arianna always stresses the importance of commitment during the 5 hours: teaching and playing with the kids, helping with lessons in our language school (which people find very fulfilling and enriching), or assisting Arianna if necessary. We've had tons of people from Workaway (https://www.workaway.info/en/host/579286557515 ) and Worldpackers and have always received top reviews. It is not babysitting. Overall, we don't expect people to lack commitment or spend time on their phones or personal activities during the 5 hours. We believe it's unfair to our kids who are used to having someone fully engaged. We don't require extra hours or anything beyond that. We're speaking generally, of course, nothing personal against you. We're just really sorry to have received a 3-star rating due to a misunderstanding and from someone who only stayed for 2 weeks.

I had a really great stay here. I was a little unsure of how things worked at first, but as the weeks went on I got a hang of it. The kids are very energetic! The family was really kind and cooked great food, being considerate of my dietary needs. I stayed in a private room separate from the house. This stay is right across from the beach, I also really enjoyed visiting the towns near by. Thanks guys!!
