The hostel is such an amazing place to volunteer! I had no expectations going into the experience and by the time I left I was leaving what felt like a second home. Kate, Aris, and Julia put so much into creating a comfortable, fun, and smooth environment, whether you're on shift or just at the hostel. The shifts are super manageable and everyone looks out for one another. the hostel is a great spot to explore and immerse yourself in the community, and the hostel feels like an integral part of the community. I would recommend it to everyone!

Essa experiência foi realmente incrível, desde a primeira semana eu me senti muito bem recebida por todos, especialmente por Kate e Aris, sempre muito educados, reconhecem qualquer esforço extra nas tarefas e fazem questão de agradecer, se preocupam com o bem estar de todos no hostel, são excelentes anfitriões. O hostel é confortável e inclusivo, hóspedes e voluntários são incentivados a fazer atividades juntos. Com certeza o hostel tem um lugar especial no meu coração, eu já estou com saudades!

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. I met so many amazing friends and got to explore the hostel and the surrounding areas. Kate, Aris and Julia are a fantastic management team and are truly passionate about what they do. They ensure everyone feels included and has an enjoyable time. I hope to be back before too long. The bed sheets are amazing!

I'm so glad I chose the hostel as my first hostel volunteering project! From arriving as a stranger to departing as a part of the bigger family, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there! Kate, Aris, and Julia are great hosts and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had so much fun together and the other volunteers made me feel so welcome as well! I highly recommend this project to anyone! I will be back for sure! Thank you again for an amazing time!!!!! <3 <3

My experience at the hostel was incredible, I met very good people and I was able to improve my english while exploring the city. The tasks are simple and shifts are respected, there is flexibility and very good atmosphere. Thanks to Aris, Kate and all my colleagues for this adventure. ♥️

The hostel is more than a hostel. There is something very magical and special in the orchard house (building), and I think is the love that Kate and Aris put in every single detail and their passion for this project. Since they took over the hostel back in October 2022 the hostel has changed from a bad taste hostel into a comftable, cozy and beautiful place in which you will always wish to stay a little bit more, I'm glad I was part of this project, I tried to treat this place as it was my own home, and somehow it was. Moments and faces I'll never forget made my experience invaluable.

It has been a great experience and a great learning experience to be at the hostel, I am still grateful for the summer. I have had and the wonderful people I have met and all the plans and conversations shared. Kate and Aris care about the volunteers and really want them to feel at ease, as they do with the hostel. It is a very nice project and I would definitely recommend it. There is a great atmosphere and a lot of community.

Absolutely amazing experience. The owners Kate and Aris, as well as the manager Julia, truly cared for every volunteer and guest. They are kind, accommodating, respectful and always willing to help solve any issues that might occur. The reception job consisted of checking in/out, making beds, doing laundry. And they were very flexible if you had days you wanted off. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't be more grateful to have had this be my first. Truly unforgettable people and a beautiful place to call home for 2 months. Absolutely recommend to anyone.
