Hicimos un lindo grupo con los voluntarios y fue muy lindo poder vivir cerca de la playa. El trabajo es claro pero son bastantes responsabilidades para un voluntario. Lo único que cambiaría es la ventilación del cuarto el Hostel está muy bien

Mi experiencia en este hostel fue bastante buena durante las primeras tres semanas. Sin embargo, tuve un imprevisto personal que me obligó a abandonar mi puesto de voluntariado antes de lo previsto. Lo que sucedió luego no estuvo muy bueno; Juan reaccionó de manera inapropiada y comenzó a tratarme de forma pasivo-agresiva, simplemente porque pensó que mi partida repentina estaba dirigida específicamente hacia él. Esta actitud hostil me hizo sentir muy mal, mostró una faceta muy oscura y ni siquiera hubo un saludo cordial de despedida por el tiempo compartido. Decepcionada de la calidad humana.

En psicología, se denomina transferencia de responsabilidad lo que hacés. No tuviste un imprevisto personal, tomaste otro voluntariado y te fuiste de un día al otro, no importándote los perjuicios que causabas con tu falta a la palabra empeñada.
No hubo tiempo ni siquiera para que nos enojáramos. Sabés? No es la primera vez que un voluntario se va antes, pero por lo general avisa con tiempo. De nuestra parte, en nada faltamos al compromiso asumido.
Y es verdad, no hubo saludo. Te fuiste (escapaste) antes de abrir la recepción, como quien sabe que actuó mal o, si preferís, cómo los ladrones.
Que tengas buena vida y puedas aprender a manejarte mejor.

Fue una excelente experiencia, con un excelente equipo de Voluntariado y de anfitriones Gavi, Juan y Pablo son muy amable y siempre están dispuesto a atender y ayudar a resolver las dudas que tengamos los voluntarios, tenia pensado quedarme un mes y me quede más de este tiempo en el hostel, me sentí bastante cómodo con las tareas, es cuestión de práctica y después es seguir los procesos que se deben hacer diarios, espero volver y muchas gracias a los anfitriones por permitirme ser parte de su equipo de Voluntarios.

Have lost count of the amount of times I have come back. It's my favourite place and feels like home. Gabi, Juan and Pablo are so caring and accomodating. They support you both in the hostel and in your own personal endeavours. The hostel has everything you could want and the location is in a beautiful part of central Malaga next to the beach, supermarkets, the gym and multiple bus stops. I recommend this experience to everyone :)

I really had a good time in this hostel ! Gaby and Juan are very nice, and working in this family atmosphere makes you feel comfortable from day one. The location is ideal, close to the beach and facilities. I also highly recommend this place to practice spanish, english, and especially argentinean !

This was my first volunteering and I have to say that I couldn't have a better place to stay, work and meet people, especially the hosts Gaby and Juan are amazing!, very kind, helpful and welcoming at all times, the things I had to do for work are not heavy actually because the team is very good and we were all on the same page, also the hostel and the location is very good, for someone who loves to go to the beach every day in 3 minutes walk is the best, I feel really lucky for this experience!

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have imagined it going better. Juan and Gabi have always been helpful and kind, and the other volunteers also helped me feel at home. Pablo will be there every day to welcome you and explain your tasks, mainly cleaning the hostel and checking in; he is a truly wonderful person, patient, serious and witty at the same time. I highly recommend coming here with the desire to interact with people from all over the world and discover a beautiful city like Malaga and, I assure you, you won't regret it!

I have spent very nice weeks in the hostel, which has a very good location to get to the center and only one block from the beach. The owners, Gaby and Juan, are very honest and welcoming people. Being Argentinean I felt very comfortable from the beginning. I highly recommend living and participating in this volunteer program, in which you will be in a family atmosphere, and you will be able to take advantage of your free time getting to know this beautiful city, Malaga.

I had the best time volunteering here! Gaby, Juan and Pablo are wonderful, caring people who made me feel welcome from day one. The energy of the hostel is great, and the location beautiful! The work hours and tasks are exactly as agreed upon. They sometimes come with quite a lot of responsibility, but the owners are always there to guide and help you, and you'll definitely learn so much from it! Also, if like me, you're looking to practice your Spanish, this is the perfect opportunity. I'll forever cherish this experience and the amazing people I met here. Gracias por todo!❤️

The hostel is an amazing hostel, with amazing people. It is very close to the beach and the schedule give you plenty of time to explore all of the region.
