From the very first moment in the flat I felt very comfortable, a friendly and quiet environment was immediately created in which I always had the opportunity to speak Spanish. I spent the first few weeks in the limpieza, the girls explained everything to me in a precise manner as a certain commitment and responsibility is required. Afterwards I switched to shifts in reception, which I alternated with limpieza from time to time. Here I learnt how to de to deal with customers. I always got on well with both Jose and the other guys. I recommend the experience.

I had a great month helping out as a volunteer at Duquesa and Zacatín. The time was flying by and I enjoyed every minute of it! This was only possible thanks to all the amazing, loveable and caring staff which wanted all the volunteers to feel comfortable during the whole stay. Another great part about this volunteer work was, that the volunteers had their own space next to the Hostel which created a great atmosphere between all the volunteers. It was the best experience I could have asked for as my first volunteer work and I can only recommend it! Thank you sooo much for everything❤️!

Having Noellie has been a great experience. He is a very sweet, hardworking, and very kind person in any environment. He is very smart and learns tasks very quickly. This experience was exactly as advertised so it was nice that everything went as expected. The accommodation is a cute staff flat right across from the hostel and it has everything you need. The hosts are great and easy to get along with, and I can say the same for the other cleaners Johanna and Esther. The only thing is that sometimes the schedule was weird so one day there would be 5 people working and the next there would be 2. I had a couple of days where there was way too much work for only two people and it was very stressful. Overall it was a good experience and thanks for everything!

My experience here was wonderful! I immediately felt at home! People here are kind and helpful. The host, Jose, is super nice and available for any request, as well as every staff person. Other volunteers are so special. We had a lot fun, in and out of the house! I also met other beautiful spanish people. If you want to learn spanish and get to know Spain better it's the perfect place. And in addition…Granada is a beautiful city and I really mean this! There is everything you need in a city, but also a lot of nature and wonderful landscapes whenever you want!

A minha experiência no hostel e Duquesa foi muito boa! Os anfitriões Jose e Saray são pessoas boas, os funcionários também e todos muito prestativos! Os voluntários tem uma energia muito boa e são muito amáveis. A cidade também é linda! Recomendo!

A big thank you to the team for my experience in Granada! I was assisting with the housekeeping duties, all hours and schedules were well organised and never went over time. We received our weekly schedule on the Sunday so we could plan our week around it. 5 hours per day (10am-3pm for housekeeping) 5 days per week, with 2 days off side-by-side so you can explore beautiful Granada The tasks were very structured which I liked, there was a person giving directions so you're never wondering what to do. It was all in Spanish! Which was exactly the experience I wanted to improve :)

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was really great! The people are so kind, the city is beautiful and the apartment for the volunteers is super nice. Unfortunately it sometimes seemed as if there were not enough people cleaning, so the job could be hard and stressful. Overall I am really grateful for an amazing experience.

Foi a minha primeira experiência worldpackers e não foi como eu esperava. O trabalho na limpeza era um pouco pesado e a relação com uma das funcionárias era difícil, pois faltou uma comunicação não violenta e esclarecimento com a funcionária sobre os objetivos do worldpackers. A outra funcionária Esther era muito atenciosa e gentil. Em relação a moradia, a cozinha e o banheiro sempre estavam muito sujos, e sempre tinha muito ruído. Acredito que faltaram algumas regras em relação a isso para ter uma boa convivência entre os voluntários. Por conta disso, encerrei meu voluntariado antes.

La experiencia con Rafaela, al contrario que con los demás chicos, no ha sido positiva. No se ha integrado con los demás voluntarios y ha creado conflicto con el personal del hostel. Ha creado un clima muy hostil, tanto es así que se vio afectado el buen funcionamiento del mismo.
Las normas en el lugar que los chicos comparten están muy claras, entendemos que son culturas distintas y distintas formas de ser, sin embargo, el respeto debe primar. Rafaela nos dijo que hablaba Español e Inglés, sin embargo, no es así. Por todas estas razones, tuvimos que tomar la decisión de terminar tu voluntario.
