It was my second time in Sammatz, and it served to confirm how special this place is. First time I was there was winter season, and now more in the summer style. Both very different times to be there, but both amazingly welcoming and immersing. You can learn a lot, be at peace close to nature, and meet people from all over the world. The community is extremely accommodating, and I couldn't recommend it more. For anyone on the fence about going, I guarantee you won't get disappointed. I intend to come back still. Thank you for everything!

Sadly, I was only able to stay for a week. Nonetheless I had a wonderful time at Sammatz and hope I can return some day. It took me a few days to get used to the routine and the place itself but at the end of my short stay I had developed a lot of love for sammatz and its people. I would definitely recommend staying here…this is a special place:)

I had the most beautiful experience at Sammatz. Not only I met people from all around the world and made friendships for life but I also enjoyed tasks I had never done before and connected with nature. I recommend!

I spent a month in Sammatz and I couldn't be more grateful with the experience. It is a really nice place to connect with people from different countries and backgrounds, where you can learn about farming and sustainability, and where you can acquire new abilities in gardening, agriculture and animal care. I would recommend it for anyone that is looking to make new friends while contributing in a sustainable environment.

Zhuana was a great support during her time with us. She especially enjoyed helping in the café, where her kindness and reliability were really appreciated, but she also took part in many other tasks with commitment and care.
A special highlight was her wonderful presentation about Ukraine, which everyone found very interesting and inspiring.

Sammatz is a great experience if you want to interact with a lot of people from all over the world. The campus is beautiful. You're always in touch with the mentors, and they're very flexible. I highly recommend it. Be aware that In the end you do many jobs, not just one. I loved working with Gaby in the Garden. I made some really good friends. Sammatz will always be in my heart. <3

At the community, you can make friends with over 100 other international volunteers, you can improve your humanistic skills (farming, cooking, animal care, etc), and you can come to truly understand a simpler, focused, and more real life. From the (sometimes challenging) work, to the endless conversations, to the craziness of the shared kitchen, you feel tired, but accomplished after each day. the community is a special community, and if you like learning and meeting other travelers in a busy but tranquil environment, the community will provide a wonderful experience for your life.
