Wow. the hostel is such a magical and special place! From immediately arriving, Malu and the team all welcomed me with open arms. I truly felt like I was part of the staff family and the position was super fun! I highly recommend volunteering here. It was the best experience I could have had and I will miss everyone there significantly. If you're considering volunteering at the hostel, do it. You won't regret it!!

I was so happy here. I worked in breakfast for 2 months and wouldn't change a thing. I made dozens of new friends from here&across the world just from being in the hostel. The work is easy (taking orders, washing dishes, serving guests). They respected my hours and happily adjusted my schedule so I could travel a bit. The BL team became my family. My coworkers (JL & Hans) went out of their way to make work fun & take care of me. The other volunteers became my brother & sisters. Everyone was so happy to help me w Spanish and befriend me. Whole BL team were truly the kindest ppl ive ever met.

I was there for 2 months and my experience in Lima was a great experience thanks to the hostel. I was there as a party promoter and it was very fun and great, every week it had events and parties where you meet people from other countries and principal local people. The staff is very friendly and they help you with everything. The hostel is perfect if it is your first volunteer or with experience. There is no doubt that if I return to Lima as a volunteer or guest it will be to the hostel.

I love this place! It was my home for a few months and I was always treated well. The work is well organized with schedules all week long. I loved having Malu as my boss, she is an incredible person and taught me a lot about events in hostels. I was volunteering for party host and it was amazing to participate in all the activities. Other than that, the work was easy, nothing to worry too much about.

Volunteering at the hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and my first time outside of Europe, and I feel immensely grateful to have met so many incredible people both from the staff, hostel guests and people I met while traveling the country of Peru. It was a bit difficult with the language barrier, but I received a lot of support when trying to use Spanish instead of English. Despite this, it was easy to connect with new people and engage in local activities. Recommend recommend!

This was my 6th volunteer and by far the best volunteer I've ever done! The staff team is big and they are local so I had daily contact with Peruvians who were always helping and introducing us to somewhere new! I was in the breakfast and never imagined it would be so much fun to work at 6:30am, gracias to José who made this possible! For those who work online, it can be a little difficult on the internet, but there are areas of the hostel that are possible to work with and the internet works well I highly recommend it to everyone! Very grateful for the experience I had at the hostel!

This hostel was so amazing to work at. The staff are friendly and I was able to practice and learn Spanish due to their help. I had no idea what to expect in Peru and they really made the effort to help show me around and make my time fun!

As my first volunteer experience, the hostel was the perfect hostel because I got to meet amazing people in a beautiful district. The hostel is beautiful, it offers so many services and the schedule is flexible, which allowed me to travel during my stay. The social events are amazing and really diversified. 10/10
