It was my second time at the hostel and I had the best time again! From celebrating New Years and Scottish traditions together, to exploring Edi and having beach bonfires. The work is super fair and easy and gives more than enough time to go out ( + basically everything is in a walking distance ). Felt very welcome and Stephanie, Micaelyn and the staff team are doing their best to make sure you have a great stay. Can't wait to come back soon :)

This was my first volunteer experience and i couldn't have chosen a better place, a home away from home. The location is great, everything is walkable, the shifts were pretty easy and quick so i had plenty of time to explore the city with the other volunteers, i made friends from all around the world and stephanie is a great host she was always there to help. I had the best time and couldn't recommend it more :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Friendly, sociable, reliable and easy going, Silvana was a pleasure to have around and did a great job pulling our Spanish and English speakers together while acting as translator and teacher at the same time.

We wish her the best of luck on her next adventure and apologise for missing the review time-frame and are hoping to get her deserved review still onto her profile :)

I had a fantastic time in the hostel! I met really amazing volunteers and had a lot of fun in the wonderful city of Edinburgh! The work hours are pretty fair and easy, and you get more than enough time to go out and explore. Stephanie is also a very kind and good manager!! Thank you very much for this opportunity! Definitely recommend it!!!

The hostel Edinburgh is a great hostel to volunteer at. The work is very standard and easy to do. Steph is super flexible and incredibly helpful both with work issues and scheduling but also with recommendations for the city. The location is right by all the bus stops, tram, and rail stations you need. It's about 15/25 minutes from old town pubs. It's a very social enviorment so super easy to make friends with the rest of the staff and there's always someone willing to go out with you weither it's pub, museums, or sightseeing. I'd recommend the hostel Edinburgh to everyone!

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. Stephanie is an amazing host. She's always helpful and has great knowledge and recommendations of the city. The work was easy and fair and the hostel was fairly clean. The beds weren't the comfiest but they weren't awful. The best part of the hostel is the people.

I highly recommend the hostel! I loved my stay here, the tasks are more than doable, the schedules are well organized and you have enough time to enjoy the city (so magical). I felt very welcomed from the staff and the volunteers. You can feel a very cozy and chill vibe, thanks to Stephanie too that is a very kind, nice, and attentive manager. I hope to be back someday! :)

I loved working at the hostel! The tasks were easy and you have more than enough time to enjoy the city. The atmosphere at the hostel is amazing, everyone in the team is friendly & helpful and Stephanie is a great manager! Though my stay at the hostel was short lived, I enjoyed every second of it! The other volunteers and staff were very friendly and willing to share any information about the work, city and more! I'd recommend this hostel to any want that wants to experience Edinburgh!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I coudn't have asked for a better one! The work was easy and the hours were reasonable and flexible. Stephanie is kind, friendly and a very professional manager. There was enough free time to explore all that Edinburgh has to offer and I found amazing new friends in my fellow volunteers. the hostel has a really social and cozy vibe and I'd recommend it to anyone. I hope to return someday:)

I had the best time at the hostel. It was my first Worldpackers experience and it'll be my favourite. It's very social and the hostel is very cosy so it's easy to feel right at home. There's a good amount of volunteers to meet and travel with and Edinburgh has so much to offer. The work/hours are very doable and reasonable too. Probably will be coming back very soon! :))
