Harry fue el mejor líder que se puede desear, vives en el centro de la ciudad con un grupo social ya establecido, cosa la cual ayuda mucho a integrarse! tuve una muy buena experiencia y repetiría!

Si pueden buscar otro lugar no lo duden, yo me dejé llevar por los reviews y eran de managers anteriores, a los voluntarios actuales los ven como empleados y les recuerdan cada tanto las pérdidas monetarias que representa su cama, el trato hacia los voluntarios no es adecuado ni amigable al punto que he visto personas llorar por el trato de la manager. Intenté hablarlo pero lo tomaron a la defensiva y Tuve que dejar el hostal debido a la incomodidad y me pedían pagar mi estadía por no mostrar esfuerzo según ellos. Aparte de esto el equipo de voluntarios fue lo mejor y hice muchas amistades.

We try our best to set out our expectations before our volunteers arrive so that everybody is aware of the amount of work needed, and rewards given. If we did not communicate it clearly enough before you started, we apologise. I had an amazing experience at CB! The team is incredible and Anthony is such a great manager. He is so flexible with the schedule which makes it easy to travel around and explore. The location is perfect and Oxford is such a beautiful city! Hope to see you all soon again!

A hostel highly committed to the well-being of guests and volunteers. Practicing hospitality and socialization are the main qualities of this place. I was lucky to have wonderful colleagues and a very friendly and flexible host regarding work schedules and days off. I recommend the hostel to everyone and would like to give a special thanks to Anthony for being a great host and doing everything he can to help. I only have good memories of this place!

I had a wonderful time working at CBO, it was my first Worldpackers experience and couldn't have asked for anything better. One of the best experience overall, learnt so much about the ins and out of hospitality industry: managing the day-to-day operations, guest experience among other things. Above else, made a lot of memories and friends. The host: Anthony and owners: Greg and Nate were super helpful and nice. And I can't thank them enough. Special mention to the fellow volunteer. I will cherish the memories for a long time. Muchas gracias. Immense gratitude today and forever.

My life is not gonna be the same after my three months in Oxford. All the people I met, things that I learnt and experiences that I have, made me improve as a person. The hostel is very cozy and friendly, and there is always something going on. People are friendly and the tasks are easy to get. A really good thing is the flexibility during the volunteer, which allows you to explore the surroundings. I will always be grateful to Anthony, who gave me the opportunity to be part of the CB team. I will miss my time in there <3

CB Oxford is the best WP experience I've had. Since day 1 I felt included, supported and listed to. The hostel is relatively small, so it gets to feel more like a co-living experience. The tasks are pretty clear since the beginning; the manager really does his best to accommodate your plans with the schedule (just keep in mind that it's not always possible, so you'd need to be flexible); there're several volunteers, which makes it pretty fun too, and it's the best location. My experience was amazing and I'd highly recommend. I loved my time here and the people I now call dear friends 💛

As promised, I came back. My second time in here and I enjoyed as much as I could. It was different from my first time being more flexible: I became a lead and it gave me one more day free. Many events every week and I could lead the Bingo Night where many guests, including families, also enjoyed it. Socializing is one my main characteristics, and having normal and drinking games available made it better. Thanks to the all managers, mainly Anthony who enjoyed my playlist and jokes haha. I had a wonderful time at the hostel! Given it was my first Worldpackers experience, I was a bit nervous beforehand, but the volunteers, owners, and Anthony (the manager) were all friendly and helped create a welcoming environment. As for the work, the expectations were clear and the tasks weren't difficult. They were also good about scheduling and making sure we had time to explore Oxford and beyond. I spent many days wandering around the city and reading in parks, but I also enjoyed plenty of movie nights and pub quizzes with the other volunteers/guests. I would do it all again (:

Hi Emily, For some reason i cant leave you a review! Thank you for all your hard work over the last 3 months you were amazing. Always helping out when needed working extra shifts when things went wrong and you were amazing with the guests.

I truly felt accompanied and included since the first day. It was such a pleasure to be surrounded by open and beautiful volunteers and guests, all in a safe environment. I appreciated the international side of the hostel, but also what the city of Oxford has to offer. This first volunteering experience really motivates me to continue many others overseas. 🤞🏻Moreover, this experience can help you thrive and definitely give you more confidence. I'm glad to have lived these cherished moments there 🧡, and I'm sure, for any future volunteer who reads me, you will agree !
