The organization and his entire team are people who really make you feel welcome, they support you with any needs or questions you have and they make you feel like family. What this team does for the children left me speechless, they are really educating children who have good values to be great people in the future as adults. The children are incredible, they are loving and always have a smile on their face, they definitely teach you how to be happy with "nothing" I 1000% recommend volunteering at the organization. I hope to come back soon!

Life changing! It s so hard to put in words this experience because it is something you have to really experience, to feel it in your soul and to be open to recieve infinite love and pure joy from every member of this foundation, expecially when it comes about kids. All i can say is that for me the organization is a magic place that teached me genuine love, support, respect, friendship and it also reminded me how it feels to live in the rhythm of the nature and to enjoy every second of your life. I was supposed to stay there for one month, but i decided to listen to my heart and to extend.

This was a one in a lifetime experience and an eye opener! Me and my friend went together and spent two weeks at the organization. It is a very welcoming "family", we felt always included and taken good care of. The kids are adorable, loving and super nice. They are eager to learn anything, we have been helping them with math, reading and spelling(English), but also teaching them about environment and recycling, hygiene and brushing their teeth. We enjoyed every moment at the organization and their staff is fantastic too. Hope to come back soon again, the two weeks felt too short!!

I had a wonderful time at the organization with a lots of love from the kids and very welcoming spirit from the family. Its a great experience to meet local people, to be part of this wonderful community. I would recommend for all who wants to experience the every days life of Uganda country people. Loving environment, open hearted people.

This was the most fantastic experienxe ever! When I first arrived at the organization, all the kids gave me a big hug and I falled in love with them immediatly. I became a teacher, nurse and mom for them, and I have never experienxed so much love before. Also the organization is a really sweet, helpful and caring host, who knows a lot about the local community. I tried many local things including the food, which was amazing! I would recommend this experienxe to anyone who loves children :) Hope to be there soon again -Marie

I was a good experience. The foundation truly cares for there volantairs and makes sure you have a good time. Altough i did miss some transparantie in were the donated money went.

It was my first time traveling alone. When reaching the airport they were extremely welcoming and happy to see me, this made me feel very comfortable from the start. During my stay they made sure that everything was okay for me and made me feel part of the family! They really want to make you feel good About everything you do and get to do I recommend this place to everyone.

Staying in the organization was one of the most amazing things I have ever done. I can't describe the way they respect everyone and the amazing thing they're doing with the children. You are always protected and taken care of by all the people that works for the foundation. The experience is amazing in so many ways but the most valuable is to fully immerse in the local life. Since the very first moment I loved everything about Igu foundation,I had the best time of my life there, I build a family that I will love for ever and I will keep every single one in my heart. Everyone made me feel welcome, the children are adorable, all the ppl is super kind, room was very comfortable, the food was just amazing im still missing it, we did a great shower and also some wood furniture for the children during my stay. Best foundation, so happy to be part of a great project like this. Love you and miss you all 💖
