I had a great month at the hostel. I was able to meet people from all over the world, improve my English and learn new skills. The hostel staff is very friendly and very willing to listen and teach you. I recommend this volunteering to get to know a beautiful city like the hostel and have a good time in a place that becomes a home thanks to the quality of the people who work there. Thank you.

I had an amazing experience in the Hostel. The tasks was very dynamic (what I loved) u was never doing the same job all the volunteer (in my case between breakfast, housekeeping and dinner). Was super easy and they were also very patient to teach you. The location is FANTASTIC, breakfast is like a lunch, the room is comfortable but unfortunately the time was going so fast. I enjoyed a lot! People from the reception, kitchen and housekeeping were very nice, gentle and kind. It was a pleasure for me live a bit of this experience and I hope to be back in a next opportunity. Thank you so MUCH!

Hi! I had an amazing experience volunteering at this hostel in the hostel. The work schedule is very flexible, which allowed me to enjoy the city a lot. Even though the hostel officially only offers breakfast, there were often leftovers from the guests' dinner that we could eat — so you don't end up spending much on food. The location is also great! It's really easy and convenient to get anywhere in the city, either by public transport or even walking. I definitely recommend the experience!

HI Jamerson
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! We're really glad to hear you had a great experience volunteering with us and enjoyed both the flexibility and the location. It's always a pleasure to know that our volunteers feel comfortable and get to make the most of their time here.

We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back in the future!

The hostel is in Central the hostel, close to major attractions like Tower of the hostel,Tower Bridge, the hostel Eye,Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and a lot more. 20 to 30 minutes walk. They have a flat for volunteers, which is really cool, you can use the kitchen and more. Almost everyone in the hostel's staff were super lovely: the kitchen( Karen and Igmedio especially) and the housekeeping team are very nice people. Luz is one of the best human beings i've ever met. For me, the "low" point is there aren't many british( staff or volunteers), so you can't pick up on the british accent there. The work is fair

It was my first volunteering and it couldn't be better. the hostel crew are incredible, they always make sure that we are feeling comfortable here. The hostel is so well located and you can easily walk to any place from here. I made friends for life and now I'm sad that I'm already going :(

My volunteering at the hostel. the hostel was my first ever volunteering experience through Worldpackers; it lasted one month. I really enjoyed it as it allowed me to see the hostel for the first time whilst volunteering in different tasks with other volunteers from different countries. The staff at the hostel. the hostel were very professional and good communicators. I would recommend this hostel to other volunteers and hopefully I'll come back to the hostel one day and stay there again. All the best to everyone :-)

Volunteering at the hostel was a good experience overall and I'd do it again. The work was a bit demanding but manageable, and I met some great people. The biggest downside was the heat — the building has na/C and it gets extremely hot in summer. Also, even when we finished tasks early, we had to stay until the end of the shift doing nothing, which felt a bit unfair. Still, I'm grateful for the experience!

I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate. However, there was poor communication from the reception staff, who expected volunteers to know rules that had not been explained and reacted with reprimands. I also had to work while sick, which I found inappropriate. It would be important to improve the clarity of information and the treatment of volunteers for future experiences. Thank you.

Hi Yender, I am sorry you had a negative experience while staying with us. If you could send me an email with specific examples, I can discuss them with the team, to ensure it won't happen again. During your induction it's been mentioned to you, that if you are sick you can tell Reception before your shifts has started. I am not sure to which occasion you are referring, but if you could provide more information, I'd be happy to address that too. Kind regards, Peny - Duty Manager

The experience overall wasn't bad, the work hours were usually respected and the work load wasn't bad. Still, there are changes to be made. First of all there were rats on the flat and they didn't do anything for two weeks. Also they put stops on the windows so that they could not be opened more than 10cm and while i understand they had some reasons I think it shoul've been talked with us before leaving the flat so enclosed. Lastly the wifi didnt work in the rooms nor the flat, which wouldnt be a huge problem, but in the rooms theres practically no signal so you aren't able to use your data.

Thanks for your feedback and for volunteering with us. We work with a pest control company who visited twice during your stay to place traps and seal gaps. The building is old, and while we don’t have rats, small city mice can sometimes enter if the kitchen isn’t kept clean.

Window restrictors are a legal safety requirement, and Wi-Fi is only available in common areas—we understand that this may have been frustrating.

We appreciate your help and wish you all the best.
