É tudo muito limpo, organizado, tudo é muito confortável e aconchegante, um ambiente muito gostoso, além das pessoas incríveis que eu conheci que quero levar pra vida toda! Essa experiência não só foi crucial para o meu desenvolvimento no meu inglês, que foi o meu intuito, e eu consegui, mas também foi essencial para o meu crescimento pessoal! Vivi dias incríveis e não pensaria duas vezes para voltar, eu já não vejo a hora!

I've spent 2 months at the hostel and the overall experience was good. I was in charge of the bar and the tasks are easy and fast to do, due to number of guests you prolly never have a really busy shift. Learning new skills about the bar works it's really nice. You'll be located in the city center, the hostel itself is new and everything is spotless this also means that the environment feels professional and maybe not so relaxed. I recommend this place for a first experience since it's really well organized.

I had an amazing time with the hostel — beautiful place, lovely people, and a super enriching experience overall. Just one small thing: the host was quite strict in checking on the work, which sometimes felt a bit much. But besides that, everything was great and I'm really thankful for the opportunity!

I’m glad you had a great time! Tasks and expectations are explained before arrival and on site. At first, some tasks were skipped or not done properly to finish faster, which doesn’t meet our standards. We check everything to maintain high quality for guests and volunteers. Sometimes new volunteers come without work experience and need time to understand how a business runs. After we spoke, you improved, and we appreciated that. The hostel is cozy, clean, and well-located. Gustavo is a nice guy to be friends with. That said, as a manager, he has a very hands-on style and holds a high standard for how things are done. He takes great pride in the hostel (which shows!), but this also means he tends to be quite watchful and detail-oriented. I found this quite difficult as I am very autonomous, and when someone is following around checking you are doing things-right it can feel a bit frustrating. Paula who looks after the volunteers is such an amazing person and I miss her!!

This was my first ever experience volunteering! The location of the hostel and the aesthetic of it were amazing! Since the day i arrived, Paula was always supportive and i immediately clicked with her. Everything is well explained and you can always ask for help if needed. Although overall it was a great experience, sometimes i felt a bit overwhelmed. There are cameras everywhere on the building and sometimes felt like i was being watched, even when i wasn't on shift. Gustavo keeps an eye on everything. But i'm thankful for everything i've learned, for Paula and for my sadly now ex-rommates!

I loved this experience! I couldn't have asked for better! I made great friendships with both the volunteers and the staff. Everything is very well organized, from the tasks to the breaks, and I always felt well supported in everything I did or needed. There, we are all one team :) The hostel is very well located, the facilities are modern, and everything is very clean! I loved the lounge, with the bar and the pool table, which gave us many great moments of socializing but also a perfect place to simply relax. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful experience, I started out a the hostel scared by this new adventure and immediately felt at ease thanks to Gustavo and the other volunteers. The hostel surprised me in a very positive way due to its cleanliness which not all hostels have. The city is also very nice with everything you need as the location of the hostel is very central you have everything within walking distance. Gustavo is a very kind person and always strives to maintain a great atmosphere among the volunteers. conclusion beautiful and very educational experience, highly recommended

My experience was incredible!The entire staff is really welcoming and always tries to make sure volunteers feel comfortable and supported. We became a family there, always organizing activities together: game nights, international dish night, and lots of pool. As for the work, since the hostel is very modern and tech-friendly, tasks like cleaning and managing the bar and reception systems were super easy to handle. The work hours were always respected, and Gustavo is very flexible if you need a specific day off, as long as you communicate in advance. I really recommend the hostel.

I am very grateful to have lived this experience and to have been part of the Hostel Team. In two months I learned many things that will undoubtedly be useful to me, I met incredible people and Enschede felt like a home. The hostel is quiet, cozy and I highlight the comfort and privacy of the beds! The work can be a the hostel hard some days, you just have to know how to adapt and take care of everything. Simply thank Gustavo for letting me be part of this experience and for his patience and charisma. I will always remember these last months fondly <3

My time at the hostel was short but amazing! I had to leave early due to family reasons, and I was truly sad not to spend more time there. Gustavo is an amazing manager who genuinely cares about the volunteers, always checking in to make sure everyone is happy and having a great experience. The hostel is clean, welcoming, and perfectly located. I met amazing people and wish I could have stayed longer, I definitely recommend it!
