I loved my stay at the hostel. The staff were very welcoming and the tasks were quite simple. There was a great atmosphere at the hostel and I had the opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world. Santiago is a great city and the location of the hostel is great, very near the centre.

Passei 2 semanas no hostel. O horário de trabalho era das 20 as 24h, então eu tinha todo o dia livre, e como o hostel está super bem localizado, é facil conhecer toda a cidade de Santiago de Compostela a pé. Nas folgas é possivel se deslocar às praias vizinhas, como La Coruña e Finisterra. As atividades no hostel são tranquilas e a equipe é maravilhosa. Se você deseja conhecer mais da região de Galícia, eu recomendo passar pelo menos 1 mês. Tem estação de trem com várias linhas a preços excelentes.

Santiago is an amazing city and the hostel is the best host in town. The staff is amazing, very understanding and kind. The work is easy and the vibes are chill. The hostel itself is also great with everything you need and a cat (Jueves). To sum it up, it was a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon and do the camino for real.

After my short stay at the hostel Backpackers, it became obvious why people don't ever want to leave. You'll find a super warm and welcoming vibe. The task are easy, fast and simple. Guests come from all over the world. Many who have finished the French Camino and will happily gift you with interesting stories. Jorge is super sweet and everyone has great taste in music. Would definitely recommend. ^_^

Fantastic experience at the hostel Backpackers Hostel! I felt really welcomed. There was the perfect balance of peaceful times, chilling, and exciting activities and parties. I met really nice and warm people; There are all kinds of guests there, pilgrims, backpackers, or people just visiting the city, each with a different history and pearls of wisdom. It is the perfect spot if you love nature too, it has a beautiful garden, and there are mountain tracks close. I totally recommend it! I'll be back there soon!

The whole team welcomes me very well, Jorge is a very pure person, the days were incredible, I had a perfect time, they helped me with many things and they were always very polite and they taught me every task I had to do, I also had a lot of flexibility to carry out each activity. I thank you with all my heart for everything you did for me. I met many people from places I would never have thought of, I enjoyed every moment. Conversations, meetings and every meal. I was also able to cook typical Argentine dishes for the hostel. I'd do this experience one and a thousand times. Abrazo grande!!!

Incredible staff and an incredible experience. Jorge is truly one of the most friendly and easy going people, very little work and a lot of flexibility as when and how you get the tasks done. Many travelers doing many exciting things pass through these doors and that just adds to the experience. Highly recommend

I don't recommend this host.very poor communication(for ex.Their unwillingness to have a video interview during the recruitment to know ourselves better,or their superficiality when answering to my questions,taking many days for it).Nothing was like agreed:amongst the tasks listed and agreed they only wanted me to clean.The shared “bedroom” was an extremely small dirty attic without even a proper window,I had literally the roof a few cms above my head,I didn't even have a compartment in which to put my stuff safely.I always try to dialogue to find a solution,but this was unbearable. Unfair
