The experience was very good. At first, I was a bit shocked by how messy the house was, but in the end, you get used to it. I worked in the garden so the working hours were very flexible.

This experience was amazing. Olov and his brother Åke were great hosts and I learned so much from them. Olov would bring the volunteers to different cultural events/locations and always had recommendations for things to do when we had free time. The work with the cows was intense and might take some time to adjust to, but it's very routine. I really enjoyed the work and the experience outside of it, bonding with volunteers and Olov. Would recommend if you want to learn a new skill and experience local culture!

I had a great experience at the farm. It definitely taught me a lot and was so different from everything I've done before. Olle was very welcoming. He took us to concerts, local events and kept us updated about events happening in town. He gave us bunch of valuable pro-tips about traveling Sweden. Overall I had valuable time and would recommend the experience to anyone willing to immerse with the local culture and farmlife.

Great experience working on the farm! Super fun connecting with all the other volunteers, and everyone on the dairy farm is lovely and welcoming, very knowledgeable about Sweden and the farm, and eager and happy to share stories. The cow shift is very fun, it was so cool to learn so much about cows and to get into a routine taking care of them, and all of the nature around the farm is absolutely gorgeous.

Olov and his family were very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is as authethentic an experience it gets in terms of a rural swedish farm life. I got to learn a lot from this experience culturally and about dairy farming. It was also a good place to wind down and relax. Although the work can get intense somedays, you have the flexibility and your hours are respected. Dairy farming might not be everyone's cup of tea but i enjoyed it and taught me a life skill, and a newfound respect for farmers.

I had an amazing time with olle and his farm, I learned a lot of things, I was able to drive a truck for the first time, olle is very flexible and attentive and he took us to different places so we can immerse ourselves in the Swedish culture, I would definitely stay there again

Hej Olov, Åke, Maria, Ingrid, Anders and Jasper, these two weeks spent in Söderala were wonderful thanks to all of you ! Special thanks to Olov of course who let us a lot of freedom, autonomy and flexibility. This meaningfull trust was great 🙂 The house/farm is very peacefull and if you want to have a real immersion into Swedish culture, it's the perfect place, particularly during June ! I learned a lot, about gardening and about myself. When I was here, I met 6 volunteers from all around the world and it led to a lot of interesting talking, thank you all 😁 Thanks for everything, see you☀

My experience in the farm has been incredible. The work was very simple, and I always felt a great sense of freedom to enjoy my free time however I wanted. Olov also helped me get more deeply involved in Swedish culture—something I would have never experienced as a tourist. I'm truly grateful for this amazing experience and I hope to return soon!

Absolute pleasure working with Åke, Maria, Anders, Jasper & Noor -- they really are the glue holding the farm together. I enjoyed all our morning coffee break discussions on global events, local culture & life in general. After getting the hang of everything & settling into a routine, the physical labor became really satisfying. It was also fun to observe all the cows day-to-day, interact with them hands-on & learn some of their personality quirks. A few became my favorites. Olle is a fun host with many different hobbies & interests, so there's much to explore. Memorable experience all around

I really enjoyed my time in Sweden working at the farm and it was only made more enjoyable because Olle made sure we experienced the Swedish culture!
