El lugar está excelente..y me la pasé genial.. pero independientemente de eso ...Solo dure un día. Solo diré que me tomé muy enserio el papel de interactuar con los huéspedes.. tanto que deje mi turno..lo que ocasionó que el dueño .me dijera que no me quería en el Lugar... no lo tome personal..solo creo que debería de haber algún tipo de seguro o respaldo por parte de la aplicación...yo por suerte tengo dónde quedarme... pero imaginó si esto le dijeran a alguien más... que viajo desde el otro lado del mundo....pues su voluntariado se convertiría en una pesadilla..

Unfortunately Ramses was not interested in working. We gave him a few shifts to see if things would improve (after telling him our concerns) but he refused to do tasks and instead was only drinking.

Volunteering at the hostel was a highlight of my trip! The whole team was warm, welcoming, and created a supportive, friendly space. The atmosphere is truly special—social, cozy, and full of interesting travelers. The work was clear, well-structured, and very manageable. I learned a lot and always felt appreciated. The hostel is thoughtfully run with great facilities that make it feel like a true home away from home. Gjirokastër is a beautiful town with so much character and history and there is so much to do! This was my first volunteering experience and I would highly recommend!

Volunteering for Wouter and Brenna might've ruined any future world packers experiences because of how perfect it was! They have truly put in so much thought, time, and effort into the hostel and it shows. From home cooked cakes every morning to team dinners twice a week, you feel like you are part of the hostel family. The schedule is given in a month in advance, and each week you have the same shifts, making it extremely easy to go on trips for your two nights off. This is one of the nicest hostels in Europe and it was such a privilege getting to spend a month volunteering in it :))

The best volunteering experience for me so far. Wolter and Brenna are kind and are doing an amazing job at creating a good atmosphere. The work isn't difficult, but it requires you to be punctual and organized. You can learn a lot about running a hostel, local culture, and hospitality from the owners and other local workers. The hostel attracts a lot of amazing people, so interactions with guests are a cherry on top.

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience. Wouter, Brenna, Kristina, Marko, and Lili were all so welcoming. The hostel itself is social and relaxed, as was the volunteering. All expectations were clear and respected. Overall, it was an unforgettable month!!

Amazing first experience of volunteering all round in a beautiful town. I really enjoyed the structure of the shifts and the range of tasks I was able to learn and participate in. You can tell a lot of care and consideration has gone into the functioning of the hostel and as such the environment funtions smoothly. The daily activities are useful for helping everyone engage and interecting with happy guests. The hostel also has good facilities to make use of while living there to make it your home away from home.

An unforgettable experience! I highly recommend this opportunity without hesitation. It's by far the best and most sociable hostel I've stayed at on my entire trip. The atmosphere is incredible—cozy and full of travelers from around the world. The staff is amazing, and I had a great time with Marko, Kris, Wouter, Lili, Brenna, and Freya. The volunteer work is fun and offers plenty of guest interaction. Gjirokastër is a beautiful the hostel with a unique charm, rich history, and lots to do. Thank you for this amazing experience!

Volunteering at the hostel was an experience I'll remember forever! Wouter and Brenna are so kind and go above and beyond to make sure volunteers and guests have a wonderful experience. Wouter has endless information to share to you about beautiful Gjirokaster and Brenna makes the most delicious food, especially the cake. This was my first volunteer experience through worldpackers and I am so lucky for it to have been this one. Just as so many guests had said while I was volunteering, the hostel is the nicest hostel I've ever been too. Thank you so much for the best month ❤️

The hostel is a wonderful place and I had a great time volunteering there. The hosts as well as the guests were so nice, and it felt easy talking to new people all the time. The work is pretty straightforward and Gjirokastër is absolutely stunning. Would recommend:)

Best two months ever! Thank you so much Walter and Brenna for making me feel so at home and have the best time ever, all the local staff are the friendliest people you can ever meet I've genuinely made friends for life! The work is super chill and the hostel is so well organised, Walter has done an amazing job in creating the perfect hostel and the best hostel volunteer experience possible! I can't thank you all enough, I'll definitely be back and would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to volunteer <3
