I arrived at the end of April and left after the first week of July. My original plan was to leave much earlier but I had to extend. I was charmed, by the place, by the people, by the environment I found here. I felt welcomed and well included from the very first moment and this never changed throughout my stay. The workload was fair and the team would always make me feel appreciated for my efforts. The place is also some kind of magnet for creative people, with vibrant ideas and styles. Valle of course is the first of the creatives, always with a new project or idea to work on.

This was my first experience, and I didn't know what to expect at first, but honestly, I couldn't have hoped for better. The atmosphere is pleasant, near nature, working hours are respected, and I really enjoyed being in contact with every member of the team. It was like one big family! The work isn't complicated and is very well organized for everyone. Once the shift ends at 12pm, you can enjoy your free time as you wish. If you're looking for a negative point, sorry but I couldn't find one hahaha I put 11/10 and I recommend to everyone !!!

I am glad I joined the hotel, the experience was incredible. All the people I met were very welcoming, it was like a big family. It was my first time volunteering & I couldn't have asked for a better place! Thank you so much to Valle & everyone who works at the GCH! The tasks were easy & everything was explained during the work. There is always someone to work with, so if you have any questions, there is always someone to ask. Malmö is a beautiful city, you can reach everything by bike from the GCH. I had two wonderful weeks and miss all the wonderful people I met. I can't wait to come back!

It was an amazing and unforgettable time. I made really good friends and had so much fun! Almost every evening there is sth going on and it feld like a second family to me!

The hotel is a great place to enjoy a different way of traveling, the rooms are amazing and it's interesting to discover each of them while having a good time with colleagues and travelers. The work is easy and just requires you to be on time and be open to help. There are also other activities to do during the day. They have a lot of family dinners, which is perfect (and they cook a lot of vegan). I had a great times pressing apples with Valle, playing cards with Chris and eating from Rickard's food. BIG PLUS: THERE ARE BIKES AND MALMÖ IS PERFECT FOR BIKING EVERYWHERE.

It was the best experience, the hotel is an amazing place to volunteer. The Team is super nice and I miss them already… the tasks are easy to do and we helped us each other, so you're never left alone. The hotel is a special place and it's a good vibe to just hanging around there but it's super close to the inner city. In twenty minutes you're at the ocean with the bike and the next grocery store is five minutes walkway away. There is nothing negative I can say about this place and I hope I will be back soon…

Upon arrival, I felt like part of the family. The staff is unbelievably nice and helpful. Work is basic and scheduling was accommodating so I had plenty of time to do what I wanted. Biking to Centrum is so easy. Malmö is beautiful with lots of places to visit. Creativity is championed here, so there was always something interesting going on (extra events, activities, and projects). I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to spend time at the hotel. Many thanks to Valle, Sickan, and the entire GCH staff! I miss you all and can't wait to see you again!

If I dreamt about the perfect place, it would be less cool than the three weeks I lived in the hotel That was my first experience, I was quite worried, I left my country. But more than an experience, I found a family here. Since the first day, I felt like at home, and part of it I couldn't express more gratitude to Valle and his team, so much they made this experience magical. It just breaks my heart to leave this place actually :-/ Tasks, schedule, comfort, I found everything I needed, and very respectfully. I will definitely recommand this place to all the dreamers of the world!

I can't say enough good things about the hotel. I immediately felt welcomed and at ease, and quickly felt myself a part of the hotel family. The tasks are easy and scheduling is flexible. I was lucky enough to celebrate midsommar here, which was an absolute blast! I already miss all my wonderful new friends I met here, and can't wait to come back soon. Tack så mycket !! <33 🐸🤡

I am so glad I ran away and joined the Cirkus! Everything was amazing. I was immediately welcomed in and felt right at home. The tasks are easy and the schedule is flexible. Free use of the bikes to go around Malmö. This was truly a unique experience and I cannot wait to come back.
