This was absolutely a great volunteer job. I really did love it. I met many nice people (fellow volunteers and residents). I worked in the art studio and I loved it. It is a lot of fine detail work; sanding and fixing scratches or holes in the statues. I normally just listen to music and do my work; it was really great to learn (and I would say it was pretty calm and relaxing). The hosts were very nice and the rooms were also really nice (and clean). I will say if your looking to party, this is not the place. It's very calm and quiet. The main town is an hour walk or 10 minute drive.

The three weeks I stayed at the community was sensational! During this time I learned to reconnect with myself and also how to live in peace the way Buddha teaches. Each person that passed through the path contributed to make this moment special, so thank you all ❤️ About the work: there is a lot of it, but you can always have fun if you are open to it, besides that I learned many things that I will take for life (like painting techniques haha)! Super recommend!!!

It's been a great experience with a lot of lovely people!!!! I really want to go back there!!!!! The place is wonderful inside and out. The meals are extremely delicious and they cook with all their kindness for us! I loved the art studio, I miss sanding and filling Budass among the nature!!! Thank you!!!! O que dizer depois de quase 20 dias aqui nesse lugar repleto de aprendizado?! Thank you so much! Acho que em nenhum outro voluntariado aprendi tanto e me conectei tanto comigo mesma e com os outros. Aqui se trabalha muito mas também se aprende em dobro. Cada tarefa, cada atividade acrescenta valor e aí todo cansaço físico faz sentido. Gratidão a todos que cruzaram o meu caminho aqui, os levarei no coração! Super recomendo essa experiência a todos que quiserem buscar e encontrar um verdadeiro sentido e propósito para suas vidas.

Living this experience for two weeks was immensely transformative, I learned every day from people and I will take it with me for a lifetime. I improved my English, I was able to make friends from different nationalities and cultures, in addition to developing new skills.

My time in the community has been really well spent. This place provides an atmosphere of kindness and good vibes, but also reflective and spiritual. I've had the opportunity to meet many interesting people from all over the world, connecting with them in a special way.

I had and amazing experience here! Everyone was very nice and helpful, the task were easy to do. The teachings and meditations were good and interesting. I wish I could stay more there. You meet very interesting people and the place is so beautiful ( temple, beach, woods, town) It was a great experience

I can't describe my stay at the community with words, it was a life-changing experience for me. Everything about this place is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for something different and more deep in life, for anyone who needs to be in a safe place to find themselves.

My time at the community was fantastic! I had fun meeting the other volunteers, I seemed to get on with every and the poeple at the center had a real peace! Meeting other travelers was a highlight for me. the teachings where inspiring and made me think about the way I view life! The daily tasks where fun and easy and I had a good timing laughing all the way! I highly recommend this to other worldpackers for its teaching, surroundings and meeting poeple! It's a magical place, will meet people from all over the world, and maybe like me, create very strong connections! It has a very spiritual atmosphere and people with the same energy. If you like the community and want to know more about Buddhism, improve your English and also reconnect with nature, this place is what you are looking for. I felt very well educated, even though I didn't speak the english language very well, my supervisor, Thourya, was able to explain everything to me, even though I had to repeat it sometimes, she did it with a big smile on her face! Thanks, I hope to come back.
