Desde el primer día fueron muy amables conmigo, si me hacía falta cambiar las horas de trabajo lo modificaban sin problema, si tenía dudas o necesitaba algo, siempre había alguien dispuesto a prestar su ayuda, el trabajo resulta muy sencillo y llevadero y el ambiente en el hostel es muy agradable. Se trabaja 3 o 4 días a la semana, por lo que tienes mucho tiempo libre para poder ver la ciudad y la isla, cosa que recomiendo encarecidamente. Gracias a todo el equipo del hostel por hacerme sentir como en casa, especialmente a Ale y a Sara. Me llevo una gran experiencia y a gente maravillosa.

Fue mi primer Voluntariado y la verdad es que no tengo nada malo que decir. Fui muy bien recibida por los dueños y los otros voluntarios. La cuidad es linda, pero a mi particularmente no me gustó mucho, los alrededores de Catania son hermosos. Recomiendo si quieren hacer su primera experiencia como voluntarios. Una nueva experiencia que termina,mucha gente linda y cientos de recuerdos que guardare en mi corazon por siempre ... mis compas voluntarios (todos argentinos, genios por demas) el staff de recepcion. austin, ale y claudio; uno mas bueno que el otro, siempre dispuestos a ayudarme con las tareas y enseñandome italiano cada dia. el staff del roof top, hicieron que mis noches sean super divertidas y por ultimo angela y marcello dos anfitriones muy correctos. para que siempre me recuerden les dejo mis frases de cada dia... CIAO, ci vediamo dopo, buona notte, prego, SI el hostel y la mar en coche

Fue una experiencia excelente, Angela y Marcelo buenisimos anfitriones, me enseñaron y ayudaron en todo. Tanto el.staff como los otros voluntarios buenisimos compañeros. Me diverti y aprendi. Lo recomiendo.

Volunteering at the hostel in Catania was the most magical, life-changing, heart-warming experience I have had across all of my travel experiences to date. The hostel is perfect, a work of art - from the design & decoration, to the facilities, location & rooftop, the plants and books and cozy, comfortable spaces. I enjoyed every moment of my volunteering experience here. The work was easy, fair and exactly as agreed upon, the hours were great and the staff were so welcoming & always were available to help. This is the perfect place to volunteer.

It was my first volunteer work and what an incredible experience! The hostel is a very authentic and unique place, it's a great opportunity to learn new languages ​​and make connections with all parts of the world! The work may seem complex at first, but there's always someone there to guide and help! Everyone was very welcoming, the shifts are fair, and you learn SO MUCH! I left there with a little piece of everyone. It was literally my home away from home, I miss it every day 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Had an amazing time at the hostel, truly met some amazing people I'll love forever and made some great memories. The night shifts were a bit tough at first but once you settle into a routine with them, then they're super easy. I ran into a few problems as someone who only speaks English and a bit of French but there were always people around to help when I needed it. Overall definitely recommend and will always miss the mushroom pasta nights

What an experience! I LOVED spending my time working at Ostelo. Such a beautiful and cozy space with great facilities, a super welcoming staff, and fair shifts. I had the privilege of working on the rooftop, which I absolutely loved. The night shifts were a bit challenging, mainly because of staying awake, but apart from that, everything was quite smooth. On top of that, I truly enjoyed preparing and setting up breakfast every morning.

Had an amazing experience here. Would definitely recommend whether it's your first experience or you've done a few. The staff were always there to help if needed. I loved the cooking class that they put on. Overall it was one of the best places I've been to yet. I'll definitely be back.

The hostel was a nice experience. The crew is great and well welcoming. Most of the shifts are fine, except by the night shift that can be a bit tiring. Overall is a really great hostel.
