Muy positiva, el ambiente del Hostel es sumamente acogedor, y desde el primer día te hacen sentir parte del. Los encargados tienen una energía muy buena, te dejan espacio y tiempo para desarrollar tus tareas de la mejor manera. Sin contar con la ubicación tan privilegiada que tiene el Hostel. Totalmente recomendable.

Fue mi primer voluntariado! Y agradezco que haya Sido asi... El lugar es hermoso, el ambiente de trabajo espectacular , cuando llegas te conviertes en parte de su pequeña comunidad, la cuál es genial, se adaptan a tus necesidades así como tú a la de ellos, me sirvió un montón para crecer y me dieron una oportunidad enorme!!!! Totalmente recomendable!!!!

He pasado un mes increible... el encargado, los compañeros y los dueños han sido lo más!!! Es un lugar excepcional, muy bien ubicado, con opción a hacer surf y desayuno. Las tareas a realizar han sido muy llevaderas, respetan el horario de trabajo y de descanso. Hay muy buen ambiente, si trabajas bien y eres responsable lo valoran mucho. Se hace una reunión semanal para ponerse al día de novedades. He conocido gente maravillosa que siempre llevaré en mi corazón y que seguro volveré a ver!!! Un abrazo y besos a todos, en especial a Juan jajajaja de Sarita Policia ♡ os quiero compis!!!!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue de mucho aprendizaje, es de esos lugares en los que cada día es diferente y siempre hay nuevas cosas para hacer y aprender. Conocí personas increíbles que se volvieron grandes amigos, me divertí mucho y aprendí a relajarme un poco más. Sin duda es un excelente lugar para disfrutar la vida, reír y conectar tanto con otros como contigo. Gracias por un gran mes a todo el equipo, mucha buena vibra para ustedes.

Spent five weeks here - was such a cool experience and met some lovely people. Would recommend to anybody wanting to explore the North of Spain. People were great, hostel had a super welcoming environment for volunteers + guests. Cheers 😊

I had a great time at Gijón the hostel. The host was super friendly, always understanding, flexible and easy to talk to. I immediately felt welcome as I entered and got along with everyone so well, other volunteers as well as guests. Even new friendships were formed as the Hostel is very social and there are loads of opportunities to meet others and enjoy activities. All in all I can highly recommend this experience and I'm excited to come back one day ! Thank you !! 🖤

Like most of the other reviews I had an amazing time in the hostel. If you someone who likes to socialize and be close to the water I would %1000 recommend this place. I had so much fun and made so many lasting memories! As for the work it is very straightforward and easy. Hopefully I'll come back in the future!!

Volunteering at Gijón the hostel was one of the best experiences I've ever had! From day one, the team made me feel like part of the family. The atmosphere is super friendly, international, and full of positive energy — perfect for anyone who loves the surf lifestyle. As a surf instructor volunteer, I had the chance to teach amazing people from all over the world, improve my Spanish, and spend every day by the ocean. The hostel is well organized, and full of good vibes. The location is unbeatable — just a few minutes' walk from the beach and close to everything in Gijón.
