Wow! My first ever trip through Worldpackers and it couldn't have went any better! I was there for two weeks to do dogsitting and housesitting but I ended up staying for a month - I then helped with gardening and other jobs. Faye is an amazing person and she has a wonderful family. In this house you really do become part of the family. Faye is very flexible - she assigns you tasks and then you organize your own time. She instructs you, helps you, and checks up on you, however, you decide when you're getting up in the morning and when you're working. I really wanna go back some time!

It was really nice for practicing English and meeting people from all over the world. The place is so pretty, as well as the cities nearby. Faye was very welcoming and made us part of the group every dinner, we all ate together and enjoyed a good time. We recommend it if you love nature and working in it!

I had a lovely time at Château the home! Faye and her girls are very welcoming and make you feel right at home from the start. The tasks were varied and sometimes a little difficult but if you're up for challenging yourself in new ways then this is the place to go. I loved meeting other volunteers from all over the world and getting to know them whilst working or over the family meal every night. The accommodation was lovely and cozy and Faye offered anything that would make me feel more comfortable. Overall the experience was very pleasurable, I made new friends and learned new skills!

This was my first experience and it was really amazing! Faye is very organized so you always know what to do. You can start at any time you want or need, there is no problem with that. She also prepare very tasty dinners and sometimes some evening activities. You should expect that Faye would not pick you up at the time that you will arrive but only at a specified time, which is fine. Thank you very much for such a nice experience and a chance to live in a wonderful place. :)

Really nice experience! The family is super welcoming. You just have to do your projects and you get to organize your days as you please. Diner time was a good time to socialize and get to know each other. Had a great time with the other volunteers too. Would definitely recommend this volunteering.

From the first day I arrived at the home were opened to me, I felt very welcome. The instructions of the tasks and the functioning of the home were clear from the first day. I was able to have a lot of flexibility and enjoy the good weather, the scenery and the people, both with the volunteers, students and local people (attending festivals and popular dinners in the nearby villages). I would definitely come back again. The atmosphere was very familiar and international. I was able to play with the students, Faye daughters and we had a lot of fun.I recommend this experience 100%!

Really good experience with Faye & Ben. I definitely recommend this place for volunteers. The people are nice and always worried about you. They have bikes free to use to bike around. I recommend trying Lac d'Agès for the day or even for camping. Love for all Eric ;)

I came to the home to help out preparing, executing and clearing off Faye's sisters wedding. It was an absolutely amazing experience! The family is open minded, hard working, welcoming and the place is so peaceful and beautiful.

First and foremost I have no words to describe how Feya is an incredible person and how her family were great for my first volunteer. The project I've had there was amazing because she mixed my skills in construction with several challenges and gave me total liberty to improve or change Littles details in the main service. Furthermore the food, hours, respect and rooms are over necessary, I mean I received much more I was offering and total support in any case of problems. She is the best.
