This place is the perfect home for introverts and people who need to reconnect with nature and themselves. you will lots of time to work on your own and find your balance. there's always tasks that need to get done, but they're always open to hear your ideas of what you feel like doing each day or what brings you the most joy to do. they encourage you to work at your own pace, making sure you're present within yourself and your energy. there's opportunities to work with other volunteers but you will be on your own primarily. this place is ideal for introverts & neurodivergent people <3

I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover their inner world. Marcel and Jerin are wonderful people, open to all kinds of conversations and ready to listen. Harm is an amazing person, and his porridge every morning is unforgettable! The work is balanced with breaks, and at the end of the day, you will feel satisfied. Atthe Center, you are completely immersed in nature; it's truly a piece of peace in a chaotic world.

I had an amazing experience atthe Center, it's a beautiful, calm and powerful place to be, to meditate and connect with nature. Marcel and Jerien are kind hosts, they care about the volunteers and explain well the tasks! The work includes gardening, cleaning, and cooking, it depends on the Center's schedule. The accommodation was good. Working hours and breaks were respected. Helping with the food preparation was awesome! Tasting the veg dishes??? Super lekker!! The other volunteers were super nice and added joy to my days! I recommend thethe Center! Bedankt Marcel, Jerien, and Papa! ❤️

It was a joyful and special experience to be a volunteer atthe Center. It felt incredible to be working in nature as well as taking care of adorable baby chickens. We also had some simple cleaning and cooking tasks. I had a blast doing it all with the other volunteers and I'm gonna miss our time together. I recommend it especially for volunteers that desire a calm and isolated place. Marcel, Jerien and Papa really took care of us, offering time, space and energy for us to evolve as human beings. Thank you for believing in me and letting me be my best self. Ontzettend bedankt :)

Jerien, Marcel and Harm são pessoas abertas e calorosas. O trabalho foi relativamente leve, trabalhei no jardim ajudando em poda, melhorar caminhos e deixar tudo mais lindo. Ajudei na cozinha quando necessários e em dias o centroretiro fica o centronossa responsabilidade a limpeza o centroquartos e banheiros. Todas as atividades são bem explicadas e em caso o centrodúvidas eles fazem um exemplo para ficar claro. A convivência foi bem legal, amei o relacionamento no almoço e jantar, onde todos compartilham da mesma mesa e trocam ideias. Lugar o centroreconexão com a natureza e consigo, extremamente calmo. Amei!

I'm very grateful for my time at the MoonFarm, it was an invaluable experience that invited me to reconnect with myself through nature and a very welcoming atmosphere/community. The work includes gardening and keeping the beautiful garden neat and tidy. The work is varied, as you can also help with cooking and a little cleaning during retreats. You will learn to find your own balance of working/re-charging time there and in your free time you can visit cities nearby. Thank you Marcel, Jerien, Harm, Alberta + Liz for making me feel welcomed and making this a very fulfilling experience for me.

The experience at the CenterMaanhoven was excellent! The place is wonderful, the garden is charming and with an incredible sunset, the people are super friendly, working hours are respected, healthy food and bicycles available for you to discover the region. In general, the work is not too demanding and is quite diversified. The place is very organized and the tools in good working condition. Birds sing all the time and frogs also mark the presence of a rich nature!! I highly recommend the Moonfarm experience! Thank you very much for everything, Marcel, Jerin and Harm! ❤️

Marcel Jerien and all the people I met at Maanhouse are kind, respectful and relaxed people. From the first day I felt like at home, food is delicious and they're very open to every request. The place is wonderful, it is the perfect journey for those who want a calm place in which reconnect with themselves. Totally recommended!

This was an amazing experience. I absolutely enjoyed it and I am grateful for Jerien, Marcel & Harm's generosity, kindness, guidance & open hearts and minds. The garden and the center are huge and beautiful and there is always some activity where you can collaborate & they encourage you to work according to your energy and to what gives joy to your heart so it is an amazing opportunity to help you reconnect with yourself. The environment is quite dynamic since they often host interesting retreats. Meals are delicious and healthy (thanks Lies), you have your own space in a private caravan.

The Centeris a family. The place is poetry: it has lyrics, rhymes, colors and sounds. It is also a holistic center surrounded by pure nature, where people come to find or explore a path toward themselves. As a volunteer you also have the best conditions to get a deeper connection with nature and yourself. The beautiful hosts, Marcel and Jerien are positive and able to inspire by speaking and also in silence.
