We are a honeybee focused ecotourism operation located on the famous Road to Hana.

Programa detallado

You will help run our farm stand while interacting with worldwide visitors – inviting them to taste local honey & shop our handmade beeswax creations. You will help with bottling honey and making beeswax crafts in our workshop. Depending on the time you visit, you may be here to help with a honey harvest.

Each week we offer honeybee educational experiences to visitors. You will be able to attend one of these tours for free in which you will learn all about bees and then put on a bee suit to see the bees up close. Other than this experience, there is no official beekeeping training.

Come experience the beauty of Maui while staying on our property and helping us to grow our operation. Please inquire and include your email address to receive additional information about our exchange.

Actividades & Turnos

Volunteers help out 5 hours a day for 5 days a week. Shifts are either 8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm. You get 2 full days off. We require a 3-week minimum stay. You can extend your stay with manager approval as long as the fit is right for both sides.

In addition to tasks already mentioned, we need help weeding and property improvements & maintenance (cleaning, organizing sheds, sorting recycling, painting, improving water catchments etc.). Volunteers with carpentry experience are very welcome!

We are not a finished / polished operation, but we are improving every day. If you stay with us you’ll be enjoying an outdoor lifestyle where you will live off-grid and reconnect with nature. We have the most amazing ocean view!
