My experience at the hostel was amazing!! Thank you Miltos and Elena for hosting such a social environment where you can meet so many interesting people and create amazing friendships. The work is not hard at all, with some tasks in the morning and in the evening, you have loads of time to see Andros and it's beauty. All you need to succeed in this environment is initiative, flexibility and a “go with the flow” attitude. This hostel is down to earth and no fuss :) I would recommend 🍋🍋🍋🍋

Absolutely recommend volunteering at the hostel! It's a beautiful island with loads of stuff to do and Miltos recommends the best activities (I recommend doing all of them!). I met the best people who were staying at the hostel as well as the other volunteer. Generally we cleaned the bathrooms and stripped beds in the morning and then watered the garden in the evening. There was some other jobs on some days that needed completing too but nothing difficult or too time consuming. Sometimes Miltos could improve with his communication, and explain better exactly what he wants.

My stay in Lemontree was one of the best experience of my life! It was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better:) The work is easy, chill and well balanced. I also had the greatest time with Miltos! He is a funny and really caring guy. I met incredible people and the island of Andros is by far one pf my favorite islands. Great for hikes, beaches and it is not too crowded. Lemontree is a beautiful little jungle and it really felt like home:) I qm grateful for everything, thank you Miltos🫶🏼

THE BEST VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE (also my first lol). I had the best time at the hostel! Miltos is an amazing host and really hard worker. I was happy to help with whatever I could during my two weeks here. Had enough time to socialise with other travelers, explore the beautiful island of Andros and just relax. The work is mainly cleaning dishes, bathrooms, stripping and making beds, cleaning rooms, watering plants and some gardening. Nothing hard, anyone can do it. Working hours are also pretty flexible, so you have enough time to explore the many beautiful places in Andros!!!

Great place to chill, the work wasn't strenuous and you'll have plenty of time to explore the island. Nice beaches and good food nearby as well.

This was my first time volunteering and I couldn't be more grateful for this experience. Work is not hard at all. You will have everything you need at the hostel. The city is pretty and cozy, impossible not fall in love. Miltos was flexible and kind with us, he took us on an excursion to an amazing waterfall far away from his home. Only thing is, there isn't much routine, you can be ready to work at 10am and he asks you to work at 5pm or tells you that is a day off at 2pm…

The hostel is a really great place to stay if you're looking to take some time out. It's a really quiet place where you'll be doing a lot of garden work. Miltos, Eleana and Ion are all really nice too.

My experience in the hostel was truly amazing. Andros is a beautiful island, full of amazing beaches and hikes. The work was mainly around the garden, which for me was really rewarding, and the volunteer's team was amazing and very supportive!

The hostel is a special place. It's very social and there's a lot of cute hangout spots. The work was easy (2-3 hours/day) Miltos is mostly very sweet and caring. If you want to go on a trip or you have any problems you can always talk to him. But he can switch. Sometimes he would get unreasonably angry and dropping a lot of disrespectful sentences. I saw it as a challenge to speak up for myself and focus on the good parts, but there's multiple volunteers that left early. It's a lot of walking on eggshells. I still enjoyed my stay and I'm thankful because I got to learn a lot!
