The place is amazing, completely surrounded by the nature and far away from the chaos and the confusion of the cities, perfect for those is looking for an authentic and wild experience in the nature. We've learn lots of things about plants and permaculture and Emilano and Duda have been really welcoming and kind to us!

O voluntariado foi bem legal. Aprendemos mais sobre tudo que a natureza pode nos proporcionar, desde PANCS até a construção com barro. O serviço sempre começava com a louça na casa dos anfitriões. Duda nos proporcionava uma alimentação deliciosa e diversa. E a parte mais divertida era cantar com Kaya pós expediente (já sinto saudades). A vista é incrível, todos os dias olhando para o gigante. Porem com a chegada de hóspedes e a lotação de quartos acabamos (eu e minha namorada) dormindo na sala da casa deles o que não foi muito confortável. No mais, o lugar e Maromba em si é de energia surreal.

Minha experiência no eco lodge foi boa, fomos bem recepcionadas pelo Emiliano, Duda e Kaya, ficamos em um chalé muito bonito nos primeiros dias, com uma vista linda, mas quando chegaram hóspedes devido a lotação total de quartos acabamos dormindo no sofá o que não foi uma expêriencia muito confortável, o trabalho que mais fiz foi lavar louça, arrumar a casa, varrer e etc... além disso ajudei com uma construção de pau a pique, aprendi várias receitas com a Duda e as refeições do dia a dia foram muuito boas.

I really enjoyed being here! The place (with great mountain view!) is nice and full of trees. Beautiful waterfalls are close (30 min hike). In the property itself we did a lot cleaning/housekeeping. However, I liked more working outside. We worked 5-6 hours between breakfast and lunch, which could be quite tough sometimes. In general, the facilities are quite simple, you have to get used to. Duda was very kind to us❤️and taught us about the magic of making bread, joghurt and good food. Emiliano told stories, played guitar and frisbee with us & showed us the most interesting plants.Thank you!!

The lodge is a beautiful place with lots of plants in their garden. There are many waterfalls only half an hour away, but other than that, there is not much to do in the freetime. When it was raining, me and my friend couldn't really leave our room. Emiliano and his family are very nice people and tried their best to keep us happy. The work was easy but not very exiting and sometimes the five hours of work felt longer than they were. The food was simple, but very good. Our room was smaller then expected and the bathroom situation was new to me, but other than that it was nice there.

Thank you very much for your help and support. We will be happy to host you girls one other next time.. now are we steel in the raining season, so it's raining frequently... In our living room we have instruments like guitar, drums, etc, that can the volunteers use to play with in the free time, or get a book to read like you did.. about the room size I didn't know it was smaller than what you expected. Actually we had other 2 rooms free, and you cut chose any other room, bigger, or individual.

Fui muito bem recebida no the lodge! Emiliano fez de tudo para que eu me sentisse confortável, e Kaya, a filha dos anfitriões, é uma fofura. Apesar de voltar mais cedo, pude aproveitar meu tempo lá para me conectar com a natureza.

O tempo que passei em Itatiaia foi incrível, Emiliano é super atencioso e compreensivo assim como sua esposa ,Duda. Foi uma ótima experiência e pretendo voltar o mais rápido possível.

O Emiliano, Duda e kaia foram anfitriãos que fizeram eu me sentir muito bem recebido, se comunicaram muito bem se mostrando bem atenciosos em mostrar o lugar, tarefas e tentar me ajudar a me adaptar ao ambiente e rotina do voluntariado.

Aprendi muito compartilhando os dias com Emiliano, Duda e a pequena grande Kaya. Além do lugar ser muito lindo, a presença das plantas, dos animais e da maneira sustentável de viver o cotidiano fizeram com que essa experiência fosse de tamanha riqueza.
