An excellent, immersive experience for those willing to commit and throw themselves into another culture. The host and team at the centre and school were fantastic, greeting me very warmly and proudly showing off their city and 'nordestino' culture for me to understand and learn from. I felt very comfortable the entire time, even being a solo volunteer there, and would definitely recommend this to those who enjoy being around enthusiastic, energetic and happy people willing to improve themselves and their futures. Thank you the schooland Petrolina!

I'm grateful for this opportunity to work in the schoolEnglish course and meet adorable teenagers and local students who have creative minds and warm souls. It was my honor to be received by loving and professional team's work: they sent me weekly schedule with my sessions, and dates. Also, I had a wide chance to design and present my own workshops. Thus, it was a good opportunity to be creative. Sara's house was adorable, calm, neat and very close to the work place. I recommend this experience to any worldpacker who wants to leave a unique fingerprint in Petrolina, and surrounded by warm hearts.

A ideia combinada ao início seria que eu daria aulasa escola espanhol a crianças da região e falaria um pouco da minha história. Mas ao chegar, passei por espéciea escola "entrevista", e como não falo inglês para participar do curso a escolaEnglish, fui deixadoa escola lado e não participeia escola nada. Me senti muito ofendido como me trataram nessa "entrevista". Disseram que não sirvo pra nada porque não falo inglês. Não disseram com essas palavras, mas foi como eu entendi. Fiquei só 3 dias. Petrolina-PE é uma Cidade interessante e a Sara é uma boa anfitriã.
