I loved my experience, the first time I volunteered and it was amazing. The scales are passed weekly and with rotation, that is, you don't always do the same thing, which guarantees you greater knowledge and more sociability. It was much better than expected! There is a bad part of all this, the Goodbyes 😔 They're frequent and they hurt, but you build friendships for life. I simply loved. thanks all

This was my first volunteer experience and it was absolutely amazing. The staff and the other volunteers made it feel like a family. I had the best time. The organization was a bit off sometimes but it was alright because everyone was willing to help out! I would absolutely recommend it to others.

Minha experiência foi incrível! Toda a equipe é muito atenciosa e querida, me acolheram super bem. Acredito que precisam de melhorar o auxílio aos voluntários tudo que aprendi foi graças aos mesmos que sempre estavam disponíveis para ajudar em qualquer imprevisto! A acomodação dos voluntários é bastante confortável pode ser porque fiquei em um quarto so com três pessoas. Quando tem uma equipe BOA o trabalho é bastante tranquilo assim dividimos os serviço e não pesa pra ninguém. Obrigado o hostel fiquei muito feliz de ter participado da equipe e conhecido tanta gente legal. Super recomendo.

Boa experiência, fiz grandes amigos e sou grato por tudo. Acredito que tem potencial para ser perfeito mas pela má qualidade de gestão acaba por ser um pouco desagradável. De minhas experiências; falta comprometimento, por exemplo; instruções adequadas para a realização do trabalho, quartos limpos para descanso, entretenimento entre os voluntários e respeito. Parecia um trabalho formal disfarçado de voluntariado. Vivemos dentro do hostel 24 horas por dia e nossas críticas precisam ser validadas. Nem tudo é expulsão. Supervisores, aprendam a sair da defensiva e tenham mais humildade.😜

I had a lot of fun volunteering here. The team was very welcoming and the other volunteers make it like a family. The room that we are in can get hot and stuffy because of the amount of people but if we opened the window it usually fixed itself. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I would highly recommend.

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I can really recommend it. The other volunteers and the staff were really nice and we had a great time together. At the beginning of my time, there were not so many volunteers, so it was sometimes a lot of beds to chance. However, more volunteers came relatively quickly and the work and the tasks we had to do were very manageable. I liked it so much that I even wanted to extend a week. All in all, I am very grateful for the experience and it was a pleasure to come here.

It was a really nice first volunteer experience, the staff is really nice and everybody is open to meet new people. the breakfast is good and the tasks given are manageable, even though sometimes just too much, but it all works out somehow! i would recommend this hostel:)

The hostel was my first experience with wordpackers and volunteering. the work was totally fair, even if it was sometimes a lot. i felt very comfortable with everything and liked the atmosphere in the hostel. I met the most inspiring and nicest people and was able to improve my English very well. The hostel is very centrally located right next to the metro and was also perfectly connected to other hostels. However, the sheets were often too small, which sometimes took a lot time. Thank you everyone!! :))

The work hours are always respected (there is enough time to explore lisbon as well), the main staff team shows and explains the tasks and helps you out if there is something needed. Sometimes, I had the impression that some staff members don't really care about volunteers + are not very patient if you do something for the first time. I would definitely claim that you get used to the work after some shifts already; sometimes it's just a little hard because of working in two hostels. It's the same tasks in general, but it still takes longer to actually get used to the shifts.
