Help in exchange for excellent lodging, all meals, internet.
We're looking for energetic people to help with various tasks (gardening, firewood, eco-project, feed chickens &dogs, maybe help with painting a cottage & sheds, some household chores and general tidying up around the property) We prefer carpenters/builders with experience . No smokers/vegetarians/GF/ food fads, please :) Only couples or 2 friends together accepted (sharing bedroom!)

If you have real carpentry skills and experience, we would love to have you, there are many projects going here.
We have had volunteers from various parts of the world for many years now and we really enjoy meeting people. 1 of us is also a teacher of languages, the other a builder.
Stay in a beautiful cottage and eat great food with us, live as part of the family. Free unlimited internet, tv, etc in your cottage with great views of Mt Hutt and Alps. We are 45 mins from Christchurch and 25 to Mt Hutt ski fields.
We need couple/2 friends together (as you will be sharing the bedroom) energetic, for all sorts of tasks: gardening, firewood, help in our native trees reserve, feed chickens and dogs, possibly help with painting a cottage and sheds, some household chores and general tidying up around the property. Our home is a heritage property and we want to preserve it well.

Actividades & Turnos

you have breakfast, feed chickens, then whatever job is going, make your lunch- free after. Your hours can be spread over several days or combined so that you can go off and do other things as well
dinner all together, we cook it and it is good.

Reglas

Please note we ask an average of 4-5 hours to help a day per person as listed in the profile. This is a total of 25 hrs max which can be spread over several days or combined so that you can go off and do things as well, we are flexible!
There is no public transport to our place, we are totally rural, the nearest bus is Methven or Darfield 28km away so your own transport is a good idea. Lots of peace and quiet here, great views of mountains and walks, skiing in the winter, fishing...
