Um hostel bem localizado em Baños: próximo ao centro, a supermercados, feiras, açougue, terminal, pontos de táxi e muito mais. A equipe da casa ajuda muito além da simpatia. O anfitrião recebe bem e tem instalações cômodas, além de ser muito gente boa.

Um bom lugar em baños, trampo ok, boa estrutura, dono gente boa... Café da manhã te dão os ingredientes pra fazer.... Baños é um vilarejo pequeno, rodeado de montanhas e agua termales, apesar disso, tem festas boas aos finais de semana. Muita natureza também. Gostei muito e indico ✌️

Overall a nice experience! Other guests and volunteers were super cool and the place is very good to relax, although you can always go out for adventures in Banos. Roberto is a chill guy and always reachable in case I needed anything and the work hours were flexible to a certain degree. The work isn't hard but it got a little boring after a while, probably because I was there doing the "low" season, so a lot of times there wasn't really a vibe at the hostel. Super recommendable if you wanna have a chill time and explore the area!

Tive uma ótima experiência no Papachos. Roberto é um ótimo anfitrião e deixa todos muito a vontade, explica as atividades com clareza, é bem flexível e por vezes me mostrou lugares na cidade e ofereceu almoço aos voluntários. O trabalho é tranquilo (e tem a Terê, que é um amor de pessoa e faz a parte mais pesada das atividades do hostel) os horários são respeitados e o hostel é muito bom e bem localizado. Sou grata pela oportunidade e pelos momentos que tive nas duas semanas em que estive em Baños. Gracias Roberto, Terê e toda a equipe de voluntários, foi um prazer conhecer todos vcs :)

Our first volunteering in our trip was in papachos hostel and it was a great one! the task and the work in the reception was explain in a very good way and we could understand the work on the first day, the room of the volunteer was very comfortable and nice, the hostel have a very nice atmosphere and the owner of the hotel Roberto was very good to us. there is a lot of thing to do in baños and with the work hours we could do all we wanted.

Papachos Hostel tem uma estrutura muito boa, é super confortável e cômodo neste aspecto, com mesa de sinuca e sala de cinema! O que foi problemático realmente foi o relacionamento com o anfitrião. Tivemos algumas discussões ao longo da minha estadia, a ponto de um dos voluntários ser mandado embora, coisa que nunca tinha acontecido em nenhum voluntariado que fiz antes. Diversos problemas com o café da manhã, que quase sempre faltava, além da nossa própria comida que simplesmente "sumia" às vezes e nada era feito a respeito. Baños é uma cidade incrível, mas é preciso ter tudo isso em conta.

Roberto was kind & took time to talk with us. Xavi (mgmt) was absolutely amazing/kind and made our trip so much more special!!!! The location was gorgeous! The work: hours that you sign up for before arriving are Not accurate. It says 24 hours a week, but you work 30hrs a week (part of why we left early) if you aren't working night shifts, & are expected to be present for social events @ the hostel like movie night even if you are not on shift. The work isn't hard, but 5 hours a day and only $7.50 to stay as a guest, not worth the exchange. Left early bc I did not sign up for what was given!

I loved my stay at the hostel ! Baños is beautiful and full of things to do. Roberto and the team are flexible with hours so you can find time to enjoy the town and it's activities. We were a great group of volunteers and that made it a great experience!! Thank you !

My stay at Papachos was such a nice experience. mainly because of the other guests and volunteers but also because the place itself is great to relax and still adventurous. Roberto is a really nice guy and very understanding. he is always reachable when I had a question and was willing to help. nevertheless there were times where it was difficult because he had very high expectations for the volunteers that were difficult to reach especially in the first few days. all in all I would recommend Papachos as a place to feel ah home and da few tasks in exchange for a very nice time!:)

My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time at the hostel! The hostel is really nice, the work and hours are very reasonable and Banos is a lovely area to explore. Roberto was helpful and organised in making sure our time there was a good one. We really recommend to anyone and everyone!
