I stayed more than a week in Kamal's homestay!it's an awesome place, very peaceful. There is yoga in the morning and we can go hiking nearby if we like to. Kamal and his wife Goma are very welcoming and nice people! The food is healthy and very tasteful:) I recommend this host to anyone who like nature and want to live local culture with amazing people!!

The farm is just overwhelming(10/10). Kamal and family built this awesome place in the hills of the farm Mahabharath with amazing views of the Himalayas, no noise, no pollution. It's just peaceful all around. The family is so welcoming and treated me like their own. I visited in December where the days are warm and nights are cold and unforgiving. The work in this month might involve helping with processing vegetables, help in the kitchen, etc. Thanks to Veeta for the amazing yoga sessions every morning. See you soon, Kamal. I spent one week in kamal's farm, it was a great experience!! I love the family especially goma and gopini they treat me like a daughter!! Nice place with beautiful view!! And also the food was really good!! I reccomand this place!! Thanks for everything!!

The family is amazing, we had such good fun with them all. Food is awesome and they cook it with love 😊The mountains are BEAUTIFUL. Ask Kamal to climb to the top of the mountain one day! Deffo worth it! You can walk to the closest village called Dungkarka sometimes for a change. You can even get warmer clothes there if needed but not hiking shoes. You will learn cool stuff, do some harvesting and help in the kitchen but don't expect a proper schedule. Amazing to relax and learn how to stop without feeling guilty, get to know the family and the other travellers! A lot of free time for you!

It was my first time in Nepal and I'm so happy that I found this homestay. We were 4 volunteers at this time and everyone had his own room. The family were so kind the whole stay. As I read the other reviews, everyone where talking about the amazing food and YES it was awesome, done with so much love!You have to taste their Momos :) The air, the view and the hike to the farm was an great experience. If you're looking for a place where you want to be with traditional nepales people and also have time for yourself, than don't hestitate to visit Kamal and his family.

My stay with Kamal and his family was truly special and wonderful. I will miss all those heartwarming smiles, their authenticity and their infinite sense of hospitality. I highly recommend it to those looking for a true back to nature experience, stunning mountain views, real dive into Nepalese culture/traditions or those who are just curious to explore and grow. All memories made will last a lifetime and enriched me beyond all I had imagined (including the food)! I will miss you!! Namaste!

Beautiful, serene. Very kind and generous family. Hikes and yoga available. Great people passing through. Great food! Verrrrrrry laid-back days, be prepared for quiet time to reflect and just watch the sky.

This home stay was the best experience I had while in Nepal. Kamal and his family were very attentive in making sure I was always comfortable and well fed. This had a very good balance of relaxing time off while also having the opportunity to get your hands dirty and work on the farm or help harvest and prepare food. Also having the opportunity to go and do some local trekking and participating in yoga classes, I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Kamal !

This place is just magical! Everything from the views, the nature, the way of living, the food and most importantly the people is amazing! During my time here I got to harvest mustard flowers, plant mushrooms, prep food, hike up the hill and help fixing water pipes or clean treks off of plastic waste. I also had enough time and space to do yoga and work on my spiritual practice, either in a group or on my own. If you need a break from the city life, feel a need to get in touch with a natural way of living, or simply crave time and space to give yourself, I highly recommend it!

Its been a great experience for me. Kamals family and home are amazing. They are very helpful, respectful, understanding and friendly people. You can see and explore peaceful and quiet places up there. Apart from the work activities , which are really interesting and you can learn lots of things, there are also yoga classes and meditation sessions. I stayed only a week but it was not enough for me. I would like to visit Kamals dream- home again sometime and to help and learn more . I think these kind of places should be respected and shared with the world. Thank you for everything :):)
